I wouldn't be happy with the second pick. In that scenario, I'd prefer a TE like Hernandez or Pitta, a LB like Washington or even NT Cam Thomas.

I seem to be higher on Hernandez than most others are.

He doesn't seem to fit what we look for in TEs imo. I'd rather have Lafell, even though I'm not crazy about him.

You're not alone. I'm right there with you! He's got a lot of talent and the potential to develop into a quality inline blocker IMO.

it's interesting they have spikes dropping out of the second round(didn't see his name).i think if the first round goes like that and spikes is still there at our pick we take him.

imo if we don't pick up dez bryant with our first and still haven't gotten someone fa then we wait on wr till atleast the later rounds if not next yr all together.

If Williams is the best WR left then I'd rather go OLB, NT or TE. The guy is another possession guy and we already have enough of those.

I wonder when people will jump off the Dez to Denver bandwagon? Maybe when it becomes clear that Denver is not going to get anywhere near what theyre asking in a trade for Marshall, and that he'll be a Bronco again this year. Bryant ot Thomas, Thomas or Bryant? I cant make up my mind. Gun to my head Im going Bryant b/c I think the round 2-3 safeties are better than the round 2-3 WRs so we can get a safety later on.

I kinda feel like we'd almost have to go OLB based on our current roster ... I am not banking on Worilds being there with our 3rd round pick at all

I think Hernandez is pretty close to what Nalbone was last year in terms of size and blocking ability. Although Hernandez is obviously more talented. So I think he might be exactly the right fit.

And I'd pass on Lafell for a couple more rounds at least. I think he would be a wasted pick.
