I think the trade discussions have been suspended indefinitely. I had an offer of a 90+ QB and a draft pick for Adrian Peterson this pre-season and turned it down. AP is already damned near a 99 rating and still young. lol.
True, but the draft in the game is a bit overpowered and overall isnt everything. I know I found starters in the 7th round, who have low overall but are PERFECT for my team. So the picks have value. I could throw back Kevin Smith in something, he's a bit slow but he breaks tackles like a beast, is young, and has A potential. I ran him for 175+ yards last game.

Actually his lack of speed hasn't been an issue. The reason I want a speed back is for the outside runs, and some passes. However I'm fine with Smith as my main back. Which is why I wouldnt overpay for Peterson. Obviously if I had the chance to do that sort of upgrade I would, but it isnt because I'm down on Smith. However Smith just went down for the season

Lions really need a halfback badly. Speed is no longer an issue. I'm looking for a guy that can carry the load for the rest of the season. I will not overpay however. My draft picks have value to me, and Kevin Smith is out for the season but I will have him back next year.

The players are cut, and signed by the other team. If another team signs a player involved in the trade SICK has the power to cut them from that team. So you dont have to worry about someone stealing your guys.

I have a young DB who rates 97 in zone coverage, but 76 or something overall). He should progress to 80 next season. What would you offer for such a treasure as this? lol. (btw - he has a bunch of tackles this season, and a couple INTS, including an INT returned 70 yds for a TD)
I have Chester Taylor, who is a 76. He's nothing special, but I'd move him if you have anything fair to offer. I don;t use him much anyways. Not sure if he's good enough for you, ratings-wise, though. I can say that he is a decent all around back, since he has decent hands and picks up blitzes decently too. Rated pretty high as a 3rd down back anyways.
Thanks, ASU. I replied to your PM. I don;t really see Moats as a starter for me, as I have two guys (in addition to AP) higher than that. I'd be looking for a RB in the mid 80's to low 90's. Obviously I'd throw in another good player too.
