russel gets on my nerves. i hope the idol quest gets him voted out next week. im sick of seeing him instead of all the bikini shots i should be viewing.

i always wondered, on the season dvds, do they show the melons falling out of the baskets?

From what past players have said, that's Rupert and always has been. Survivor editors simply highlighted the best moments to create a superstar. Look at last year with Russell. The average fan thought Russell deserved to win, but clearly (based on interviews with his tribemates) he was a jerk to the people he voted off and thus didn't get their support when he needed it.

His first return as an all star didn't yield as many othe rpopular players, simply because there weren't that many as the time. Now tho, there's a slew of others and he ain't the main man no more.

Russell now has a HII and Rob is totally ****ed... Rob should of got everyone together and found it and threw it into the ocean like Sandra said.

Coach has flipped and I don't think Rob has the numbers anymore. Because the producers suck, we know almost nothing about tribal dynamics or alliances in the Villains camp. I think Russell has Parvati, Danielle, and Coach.

From what I've seen in insider vids, Rob has Tyson, Courtney, and Sandra. Jerri was shown being pissed at Rob last week, so who knows where she's at. Courtney also is tight with Parvati, so she might swing even if Jerri is with Rob.

Rob has to play this thing smart to protect himself right now. Rob will have to cut someone to save himself. The whole tribe said Russell is screwed for looking for the idol. Rob's play should be to try and convince the others that Russell does have the idol, whether or not they "know it" or not. If he doesn't "suspect" Russell has it then he is screwed is everyone votes for Russell. Russell ain't stupid and knows this. Even id everyone votes him and he plays the idol, then Rob goes home on Russell's vote alone. Rob has to make sure the vote is split somewhat involving other players. But then again, it may wind up making no difference since the heroes have too many problems themselves. They may lose every challenge til the merge and that plays again into Russell's hands. Besides, he already has Coach flipped and whoever else. It'll be fun.

Well, the previews suggest the power struggle between Russell and Boston Rob is gonna come to a head next week (BTW....it's on next Wednesday if I heard correctly. I think because of March Madness). And, anyone who thinks Russell isn't on the same playing field with BR and the rest is simply fooling themselves. There's a reason he was asked to be in the show. Like him or not, the dude is a player. I knew he was gonna find that damn HHI.

I thought last night's episode was a little disappointing (at least as compared to previous episodes). Kinda dull/boring. And, way too much emphasis on James' knee and the impact it has/will have on the Heroes tribe. On a side, Amanda needs to grow up. Her tears for James was a bit much. It's a game, you're playing for a million dollars, play like a past player and quit riding coat tails.

Hopefully next week's episode will be better. Definitely looking forward to BR vs. Russell. Although, and at this point, I think I'll be pulling for BR. Dude has definitely earned my respect this time around. He's almost single handidly carrying Villains IMO.

yeah, G, I thought it was a bit boring also. Well, more boring as usual. from all the promo info, I was expecting a big showdown with Russell vs the rest with the idol thing, etc. it will be interesting when the villians lose another challenge. IF they lose one at all. They are definitely on a roll for sure.

I'm pretty sure that there is no episode next week. They said "in 2 weeks" in the preview.

How about that shot that Jerri took from Poopert?

I think Russell makes the merge. With him finding that idol I think there's a good chance he outlasts Rob at this point. Coach is just so easy to manipulate and Parvati seems more than willing to ride the coattails of a decent player like him for a while. To get herself through to the merge. Of course the villains are so dominant in challenges they might all make it the way it's going now. The heroes are borderline pathetic, and now their best player for physical stuff is a gimp.

That's just it. Coach is so easy to manipulate, Who says Boston Rob can't flip him back just as quickly as Russell did.
BR seems to find ways to get what he wants. I suspect he will find a way to flush the idol the next time the villians lose......if they ever lose again.
I also wouldn't rule out Parvati turning on Russell.

Coach has shown he's emotional and kind of a crybaby. I mean the guy was crying when he thought the team didn't appreciate him. Russell was kind of the first since that incident to reach a hand out to him for an alliance. While easy to manipulate I do think Coach is pretty loyal. I'm not saying Rob can't flip him back but I don't think it will be easy.

Rob vs. Russell is shaping up to be pretty epic (after weeks of doing nothing but talking). One of the best tribals every.

Tyson is an idiot and deserved to go home. Should be interesting to see what Russell and Parvati do without anywhere to run or hide.

No doubt. He now looks every bit as stupid as James did when he had that immunity idol in his pocket and didn't play it before getting voted off.

I think he's dumber than James. James thought he had a solid alliance he they played him well. Tyson on the other hand is actually involved in the plan (which I thought was idiot proof) and ten ****ed himself...

Plus Boston Rob told him that he was likely getting the votes... It's so stupid. I almost wonder if there wasn't producer interference involved. The decision to vote Parvati is mind boggling.

It makes you wonder this is scripted. If Rob/Russell either goes, then there goes the draw right along with it. The plan was pretty much fool proof unless one of them flipped which btw, I don't recall which one it was. But no matter. next up we're likely to see Rob again mounting pressure to vote off Russell since he doesn't have the idol any longer and he is still supposedly marked for hunting for the idol in the first place. But, I don't think the "scripts" will allow that so I expect another blindside again.
on the Heroes side, they are in such a mess that it's hard to figure out what might happen next.

The Heroes are mess now. But once the merge happens, you know Parvati will run to her friends on that side. And bring Russell and Danielle with her.

I agree, Tyson really screwed the pooch with his bonehead decision to change his vote to Pavarti. I mean, what was he thinking? In his diary moment before tribal he mentions something about not wanting to go to a re-vote, just wanting a hot dog in his mouth. Could that have been his motivation? Really? What a friggin' idiot if so. Rob was totally baffled. And, love him or hate him, you gotta give Russell credit, 'cause his little speech to Tyson prior to tribal obviously worked. Dude is slick. Be interesting to see if there's another hidden immunity idol in play next week.

As for Heroes, I don't know...I have a feeling Colby is gonna get his act together, and they're gonna get the act together as a tribe and start winning some challenges. I hope so anyway.

On a side note...watching Amanda go through that obstacle course was worth the price of admission. That chick has one fine a$$.

Russell is going to have that douchebag Coach on his side now. With that whole "loyalty, honesty and trust" thing he said to him, Coach is going to be a lock with Russell.

Boston Rob will be scrambling, evidenced in the teaser by him talking about Russell as a suicide bomber. Rob is in big trouble, and he's next.

Also, I cannot wait until that POS Sandra gets voted out. She is one of the biggest turds in the history of the game.

Russell played Tyson like a fiddle. Man that was slick. I thought it was a good idea to try to fool Tyson but was amazed that it actually worked. It took a lot of balls for Russell to give the idol away and leave himself so exposed, but I think the payoff is going to be huge. If Russell gets some kind of immunity in the near future Rob is probably toast. Rob could be in trouble regardless.

Rob's only real hope is to muster the troops and convince them to vote Russell next for looking for the idol after they said whoever does is marked. But, we see how that went.

But Rob and that annoying chick who always wears the Army cover are the only ones who seem to care about him finding the immunity idol. I think Rob will have to do a lot better than that.

this is true but if I remeber correctly, I believe it was Sandra who *****ed about the idol originally. Then I think at that point, Rob chimed in to rally everyone, while Russell was right there, that anyone who goes searching for the idol will be marked. Everyone concurred but apparently they didn't now.

There goes Rob. It wasn't the smart move from a winning competitions standpoint but strategically Russell is now basically on cruise control for a while. Sandra and the human twig won't be able to threaten him, especially with only two men left in the tribe. Sandra will probably be history soon. Personally I hope its next week.

You want a spoiler tag for an episode that was on ten minutes ago? If you haven't watched the episode yet, don't come into this thread. Don't you know on the east coast it just came on? You can't honestly expect me to account for timezones and TV schedules across the country. Most people on this site are in the east anyway. I know people put comments in the 24 and Lost threads right away after episodes without spoiler tags.

It's called a little respect for those who haven't had the opportunity to watch yet. ...and sorry, no, I don't know exactly what time it's on on the East Coast, because, strangely, I'm not there. :pity:

For all I know, your post could have still been discussing last week's episode.

I don't care either way, but it's common courtesy to use a spoiler tag when you might give away a big
    spoiler.

    That's my understanding too...

I hate that Rob is out because Tyson was too stupid to stick with a great plan... Coach is a dumbass too.

All the big guns are gone minus a few (I like the old school players) and the season is turning into All-Stars. Great until the merge, when all the good players have gone home.

and it's not like they give the players some set of rules and code of conduct to follow, and he is the only one sticking to it.

i admire him IF he lives by that "code of honor" he talks about outside the game in the real world. but while he is there, it's a strategy game, and he is only hamstringing himself by not playing the game the way everyone else is.

Sorry, I disagree. When the episode has aired already where the vast majority of the country's population is located I don't need to put it in a spoiler tag. The burden is not on me to stop every person out west from spoiling shows. It has nothing to do with respect. I'll compromise and let you know that the show is airing at 8 in the eastern time zone and 7 in the central. Now you can safely assume that posts after 9 EST on Thursday are not about last week's episode.

Coach is an idiot. He knew good and well nobody was voting for that skinny chick. He thought he could just promise his support to both sides and then absolve himself of any responsibility by doing that. I wish somebody would vote him off but it definitely won't happen before the merger now.

In a way yes. But so much losing gave the heroes a chance to weed out the weak ones. Something the villains haven't had to do much. So it's no surprise they got spanked even with Rob still there. They'll lose more challenges I'm sure and Russell will weed out Rob's supporters.

Courtney will be next, then Sandra.

Candace and Colby will be the next for the heroes.

Only the merge can save them.

But, once the merge happens, Russell will REALLY be able to work his magic. I can't wait!

Personally, I avoid the thread until I've seen this week's episode, but out of courtesy I would use a spoiler tag if I were posting who got voted out on the same day as the show aired. That's just my opinion.
