ESPN bottom line just had that he went to the redskins.

Wow to a division rival really? I hope he smacks them around every time he plays them.

Dont laugh yet. Just know that just know that after today, your division just became the toughest division in the NFC maybe even the NFL

Theres no Team to smack around for 2 free wins
after the draft the redskins will become
    "complete"

I cant for the life of me understand why they would trade him inside the division. Surely someone else out there had to have been offering a similar deal. At least there should have been. Theres alot of teams out there that need a QB. Seattle, Buffalo, Oakland, Carolina, and St Louis just to name a few. I guess maybe there just wasnt that much demand for him and philly had no choice. Interesting move though. Gotta love the NFL

The Eagles got the 5th pick in the 2nd RD and a potential 3 or 4 in 2011???

Wow, they wanted to move on from Mcnabb then they get THAT back? Eagles front office are flippin genuises!

The Eagles is raising up in the ranks as one of the dumbest teams in the NFL. That is unbelievable. How the hell can you trade a QB of his caliber WITHIN the division?

Because they know his skill level, they got tremendous compensation for an 11th year QB who quite frankly has been overrated.

Wow, overrated? Just because you think the system he was in "made" him, doesn't mean he is overrated.

And you do not trade within your division unless you get a mind blowing offer. Eagles got robbed.

For an 11th year QB that is mind blowing....Wait and see, Mcnabb will be average at best then he will be apologized for as always.

Wait and see for what? I think we all expect him to put up less numbers than he did in Philly. But not the type of numbers you expect.

No one is apologetic for Mcnabb. He's been thrown under the bus the minute he was drafted and after years of elite play, he still is. It's mindblowing.

P.S: That word, apologized, is probably the most annoying word ever.

Well, agree and disagree, McNabb is not a scrubini, he is the same age as P Manning and he comes relatively cheaply, he can move an offense and probably needed a change in scenary.

Where I do agree is McNabb, for various reasons, seems to have supporters no matter how crappy he plays, which is a portion of being a fan, but still.

    Very classy.

I don't blame Mcnabb for wanting to play for the Skins so he screw Philadelphia over. That fanbase deserves the worst.

You will be very dissapointed. But, I guess the system in Washington will make him, too. As always, Mcnabb will never be respected.

Why wouldn't he have supporters? We're talking about a Qb who has thrown 216 Touchdown passes to 100 picks this decade. He keeps up his play, he could be a HOF QB.

I expect McNabb to do quite well in Washington, the truth be known, they have similar pieces as the Eagles at Te and Rb, and he has played with average Wr's before.

Now if the Redskins take Dez Bryant at #4 to go along with Moss and Cooley "and" the conversion to a 3-4 works, the Redskins will be in business.

But they badly need a left tackle.

Supporters who don't notice things like dropping completion perecentages in playoff games and poor conditioning etc.

Don't misunderstand rafi, I think Washington pulled off a steal of a deal here, starting Qb's, who are healthy, and successful, rarely come that cheaply.

Recall the shot in the arm effect Chad Pennington had in miami in 08?

that is what I expect out of McNabb in DC.

Im just interested in seeing how he plays outside of Andy Reids dynamic system, maybe he will excell. Its just my opinion he isnt good enough to make a bad team good.

In the playoffs, he has performed badly. But he hasn't been as bad as people say. He's had alot of great games.

I expect them to build their line now. I can see them building it while Mcnabb starts, so whoever succeeds Mcnabb will have a great line to play behind.

Carolina really thinks they have their guy in Matt Moore. His stats were actually pretty solid from what I remember.

If I'm Philadelphia, I'd rather have taken Oakland's 3rd rather than Washington's 2nd just to get him out of the division.

im happy that McNabb got to go to a franchise that has peices they can build on and a good FO to make things happen. But I have to feel bad about the fact that for the fist time he had talent on offense in Philly. I hope McNabb can get a ring in Washington. I have always loved this guy and he is the type of QB every franchise would dream to have. he brought the team to NFC championship games and no matter what was thrown at him(Limbaugh,Vick,TO,fan, trade rumors) he acted like a true professional and never game them any problems. I would take a clone of him as my QB forever.

In a way it may be good for McNabb to get out of that city and maybe find some fans that may appreciate him. I wonder how Redskins fans feel about having a former rival-QB.

I think this is an incredible deal for Washington!
Getting a top 5 QB for a 2nd round pick? Are you kidding me?
I mean, he's no Daunte or AJ Feeley......just sayin.
This makes Washington instantly much better.
Also opens up quite a bit what they do with that 1st rounder.

Well, Okung might or might not be there for the Skins. If he is, they obviously take him....if not, there are other nice prospects there are other nice prospects there.
Rgardless, they now have a HUGE upgrade at the most important position on the field.
