“Jason wants to win a Super Bowl, and he thinks he can do it with the Jets,” the agent said. “Rex has built a place that fits what Jason is all about.”

cuz Miami isnt?? seriously what is so far off between the Jets and Dolphins, that he cant win here??...unless he has one more left in the tank, and it is make or break time, if thats the case, go sign with NO, Minny, Dallas, or Indy.....those are the closest IMO to winning a championship...not the Jets..

At this point I hope he does go to the Jets and I hope they finish 7-9 like we did this season or even better 1-15 like we did a few seasons ago... Lost my tolerance for Taylors antics sorry... He's not going to the Jets he's just stirring up a hornets nest to try and get more money and I can't stand greedy players especially when it becomes a distraction.

Anyone reminded of Tiki Barber leaving the Giants because he didn't think they could win a Superbowl? Next season they win the Superbowl.

    Good Luck, have fun JT!

He doen't like the lowball offer Miami's making and he's trying to drive his value up, nothing new.

Besides, the last time he left, we won our division, just sayin.

All this is a bunch of crap. If you are unemployed, you should submit your resume and see what happens. I don't care if your a 16 year old school girl looking for a job in the mall. Have any of you sat around and said "I have a real good offer, but I am going to hang out for a couple of months to see if I get my old job back"?
I'm sure the Dolphins will get the opportunity to match a deal. If they lose out, Dolphins fault. There can be zero fault put on JT period. The posts that assume so are completely ******ed.

If he signs with the Jets and we win the Superbowl, he is going to feel stupid. I just don't see him signing there.

 trust me the Dolphins aren't winning the Super Bowl, this year or even next year. Taylor will be retired by the time we can win one, so as I stated earlier, if he signs with the Jests (of all teams) he is dead to me (and I suspect a lot of other Dolfans too).

whether or not the agent angrily denies a push for leverage cracks me up
this dog and pony show visit is right before the draft because the draft is stacked with replacements
    they are forcing the issue
dont believe everything you read as far as dragging JT to the jets for the visit
    that is damage control

    Whaaat?

We played the two Superbowl teams very closely but lost to Indy with a dropped ball and folded on the Saints due to defensive lapses; and then swept the Jets who went deep into the playoffs.

If you don't think we have a shot, then I don't know what to tell you...

Dude, that is ballast, without it he would bob up and down like a bottle..:D

I am cool with Rex dealing with being morbidly obese, he was probably 200 pds overweight, 200 pds x 4,000 calories per pound, he could power the Enterprise like a small dylithium crystal..

I may be in the minority but eff Taylor and his prima donna bull****.

We brought him back after he was a bust in Washington, this is how he repays the team?

He's DONE as a Dolphin. After that quote from his agent, do you really think he'll be a welcome sight in the Dolphin locker room? Everyone looking at him knowing he thinks they have no chance of winning?

    Eff him.

I hadn't heard that Miami offered him anything as of yet. So, I'd say it's more or less setting the bar for what his contract would be.

He didn't say the Dolphins don't have a chance at winning, he just said the Jets have a good chance. Also, who knows how true his agents words are, his job is to do what's best for Taylor and talk everything up.

As for your first point, if JT signs with the Jets I agree with you, and I would lose all respect for him.

He said he went there because he wants to win a SB. What does that tell you.
I'll say it again JT is pissed because we didn't give him the attention he thinks he deserves so he goes and visits our rival. Sounds like something a chick would do when she is playing a guy LOL.

Taylor can go to the Jets I hope it happens. You say if he goes to the jets you will lose all respect. I can't for the life of me understand how you can still have an ounce of respect left at this point for that guy. He is a selfish jerk.

Bro...you're a player in the locker room and you hear:

You want him in the trenches with you? Whether or not it was him or the agent talking, that comment means he feels he has a better shot of winning the super bowl with the Jets than the Dolphins.

“Rex has built a place that fits what Jason is all about.” Well apparently then, Parcells and Sporano haven't.

I'll say it again. Eff him.

So in other words if you were to announce that you were bringing the hot blonde down the street with you to a club that night cause you wanted to be noticed....it would have nothing to do with the woman you're with already?

She wouldn't think it meant that the blonde was better?

It's cut and dry. When Marion Hossa left the Penguins two years ago for the Red Wings, he did so because he said he wanted to win the Cup. OBVIOUSLY he meant he felt he had a better chance to win one with Detroit.

Taylor saying he's looking at the Jets OBVIOUSLY means he feels they have a better chance.

Let's just hope if that POS does go there, the same thing happens to him that happened to Hossa. :D
