Resigns from the Falcons to coach at Arkansas.

What's with these college coaches coming into the NFL and finding out the job is more difficult than they think? Yeah, the Falcons are a mess, Bobby. Turning them around would've made you an all-time great.

Atlanta is now in the Cowher Sweepstakes.

And most folks had the Falcons figured for taking Brohm.

The College ranks are poaching from the NFL, how strange is that to have happen?

Hmm, the Michigan job is open...maybe they are waiting for someone?

Michigan may be waiting for Cameron, according to PFT. Time will tell, though.

CFN reports that LMiles could be the guy for Michigan. I hope its Cam but honestly if you were running a college program, would you hire a coach that is on his way to a 0 - 16 season? if i billions to pay Cam's salary, i would donate $ to Michigan to take him off our hands.

I don't think College coaches that turn to pro's understand the difference between kids and grown men with high salaries or have problems adjusting to the Pro life. Especially dealing with players with high salaries. Some college coaches that take the leap to the NFL make the mistake of treating their players like kids in college and it ends up biting them in the ***.

When Grady Jackson got cut, he really lost that team, the writing was on the wall for Mr. Petrino.

I will say that this doesn't bode well for Cam, a first year HC bolts out of the NFL, if Cam is shown the door it won't cause such a stir.

And Atl actually won a few games.

In related news, Miami Dolphins fans are reportedly e-mailing this story to Cam Cameron by the thousands. The e-mail's subject line reads "Take a Hint"...

Maybe not, but it seems like his solution to putting it out is to throw lighter fluid on it. Yeah... that about fits in with his logic....

That's just bananas. Dude got skeered and hauled ***. Saban and now this. NFL owners have to get the hint sooner or later, right? If they don't, hopefully the college coaches wanting to stroke their egos open their eyes.

It's not surprising. While he was here at Louisville he got caught flirting with Auburn and the Oakland Raiders. The guy is a snake, plain and simple. He rules his team with intimidation which doesn't fit well in the NFL. He recruited offensive players heavily here at U of L and if they didn't work out on O he would switch them to defense.

Good luck with this one Arkansas.

    Sorry, but no, it's not.

I'm really starting to hate the memes that grab hold of Finheaven every few weeks.

I wonder if the SEC is trying to complete a full set of disgraced NFL coaches. Spurrier? Check. Saban? Check. Petrino? Check.

And knowing the track record of coaches failing in the NFL and bailing back to the NCAA, Petrino will have an average return to college coaching.

    Spurrier? LOL
    Saban? LOL
    Petrino? Future LOL

    Back in Miami
    Man I hadn't seen this.....

    UNREAL!

Another very respected college coach, expected to do big things in the NFL basically admitting that the job is too tough, tucking tail and running back to the college ranks....... WTF?

I mean did they not think this move through and take into consideration the differences of running a pro team v.s. a college team before deciding to make the move?

What are you talking about, SC has been really good since Spurrier came in, and Alabama was up there last year too.

Not really, SC has been better but I think Bama took a step back from Shula's last year. That could change once he gets some of his players in there though.

No, it's not. The head coach is not God.

A meme (plural: memes) is a viral idea. It's a term or concept that instantly catches on regardless of its sense or meaning, usually in the form of a catchphrase or repetitious act.

Examples of Internet memes: "all your base are belong to us," motivator images, and Vin Diesel/Chuck Norris facts.

Examples of Finheaven memes: "Ronnie is a bust," "FIRE THE COACH," "we're a laughingstock," and draft bandwagons.

Well it's a good thing our "coach" isn't God. I mean Earth would be screwed:

"Well today I'm going to call the plays. Tomorrow it will probably be Jesus. Two days from now we're going to give St. Peter a try...."

Oh, and Ronnie is a bust is a total memes. But make no mistake about it, we're a laughing stock. How are we not? We're 0-13.

    ...and FIRE THE COACH! :-)

"We're a laughing stock" arose before this season. It's a meme.

Yesterday on SportsCenter, they were not nice to Petrino. Probably one of the biggest bashing I have seen on SportsCenter, ever.
