I'm cautiously optimistic. I want a better defense more than anything, for 2 reasons:

    1. Our defense sucked.
    2. I'm a man. Only sissy, nancy boys like WRs.:shifty:

Having said that, I do like that BM plays tough. If next year's 2nd pick is a conditional, as rumored, I'll feel even better.

Now, if we just keep Ronnie, will our offense become, "The Greatest Show on Surf"? Here's hoping.

We now signed the 2 biggest players on the market and brought in one of the best defensive minds in football this offseason.

Will you people now stop *****ing about the FO not doing anything?

I would say this probably mean Denver is taking Bryant....

I gotta hope one of the tackles falls to 12 and someone like GB is motivated to trade up. If we could somehow still pick in the first round and get our second back, this would be the most incredible off season in a long, long time.

I am, for the first time in a long, long time, excited about the Fins. Usually, I am just "hopeful".

couldnt even sleep last night. I knew i was going to wake up to something good! As long as there are good clauses in his contract I think we can feel pretty good about it.

Super excited about him on the field, but the off the field stuff scare the **** out of me.

    Now here's the kicker.............

Will they kill themselves to get Dez too? I wonder if they'll trade up and offer some of their late round picks to the cooperating team?

Great talents but between this and Dansby we are spending WAAAAAAAY too much money! I would have rather seen them build through the draft, but I am thrilled with who they got. Both players will help us out a great deal.

    I don't understand this logic.

Any position on the team, with the exception of the two kickers, I would gladly give two second round picks, IF, the player is 26 years old and the player is top five in his position.

We had exactly one top five player in the league on our team, Jake Long. It took the first overall pick in the draft to get him. Now we have two. Two second round picks? For what we've used second round picks for? AJ Feeley, John Beck, Pat White, Philip Merling....

You cannot like it because you think hes a thug...thats one thing. But the price we paid for it is well worth it. Well worth it. He not only gives us the best WR in our division, he helped push Henne, IMO, to the next level and makes Hartline, one of the best #2 options certainly in our division, if not the AFC. Hartline is better than Brandon Stokely, and IMO, will prove to be on par with Wes Welker.

I'm not worried about Marshall, Nolan spent a year in close proximity with him. He would have killed this deal if he had big worries about his character. And the price is right.

I don't see that. I think Williams, McClain or Earl Thomas are the picks. Or Eric Berry if a miracle happens.

That would be ideal....what if we trade back and, as I've seen in some mocks, Rolando McClain is there at 22? I think we pick him. That would give us a sick, physical defense, and then we could use our second and third rounders on guys like Ricky Sapp or Jason Worilds.

Chad Henne's guttural yell actually woke me up this morning.

    Marshall
    Bess
    Cammarillo
    Hartline
    Ginn

That's as deep as you'll find. We're not the NYJ with three number 2s. We have a legit NUMBER 1, and some wonderful supporting weapons.

Chad Henne is going to light people the **** up.

I can't remove the ****-eating grin from my face.

Someone get TD to run onto the field at Joe Robbie, wave the flag, and let's kick this sonnovabitch off right now.

If someone told me going in that we'd add Dansby, Marshall and still keep our number 1 draft pick, I would have nutted. Outstanding job, FO.

In the AFC East, To quote a wise man:

    "**** just got real."

    I'll try:

    1. Brandon Marshall
    2. Ginn-perfect #2 in the Alvin Harper mold
    3. Bess-slot
    4. Hartline
    5. Camarillo/Turner
    6. Cut

Hopefully we trade Ginn and get a number 2 back.

Cammarillo is too shorthanded to discard.

A 6th if were lucky. He's worth keeping just for his special teams instead of a late day two pick.

Who knows, with the attention Marshall will get, Ginn might benefit from this too.

And yet if he was on our team last year instead of Ginn, we would beaten the Colts and the Saints...the two SB teams, IIRC.

Bottom line...we are now a top echelon team in the NFL, when you consider Dansby, Incognito (very underrated pickup, IMO), Mike Nolan, and now, Brandon Marshall.

Of course not, but we can stock pile later round picks and parlay that into a second possibly with some maneuvering.

I just wanted to come and personally congratulate you on a nice move.FINALLY you guys join the partay!!! B-Marsh is a beast. It's a great time to be a fan of an AFC E team--well unless you're a Bills fan. It's hilarious that the JETS & Phins are getting better while the Pats are content with all their second round picks.
SHould be an interesting season, and another challenge for Revis!
