It could still happen if we stay at 12 or even more likely if we trade back and he slides Brother

Wow is today my birthday...... oh wait that was last week.... today is better than my birthday!

Yes 2 #2s is a big price however the amount of dynamic ability that marshall brings to this offense is well worth it! To be able to stretch the field and make big plays, coupled with that fact that him being on the field will open up and improve our other receivers, not to mention that teams will be weary of over stacking the box thus opening up the running game for our explosive backs,..... ill pay the #2s..... give me demention.... aka Marshall

Let's put this in proper context.

    I'm 26 years old.

Today, my team, YOUR MIAMI DOLPHINS, acquired the best wide receiver they have had in my lifetime, bar none.

Well, if it's true we got Marshall, and we do hang onto Ginn, I'm guessing Ginn is going to have an unbelieveable year this year. Now he can focus all offseason and preseason on his unique role as a returner and complimentary Wideout.

Good luck covering Ginn with Marshall on the field.

It's a bargain for BM he is a great player. If Denver wouldn't keep him I was hoping he'd go to Miami. I just hope being closer to home and big money doesn't work against him.

IN ADDITION to freeing up TGJ for go routes, let's not lose sight of this:

The underneath routes that Bess, Hartstopper and Cams can run just became FAR more dangerous and effective with Marshall's downfield blocking and the inability to bring safety help over the top due to the deep threat.

It's actually 5 at 50 mill when factoring in the tender deal he signed. It's ten mill a season for arguably the best player at his position in the game.

    Good move.

    So much of this.

If Ginn can't succeed this year across from Marshall, I just don't see any hope for him at all.

pretty much goes for all of them.

Cam, Bess, Ginn and Hartline are now going to see mostly single coverage. One of them has to shine big time now.

Yeah, that really does present some issues, so long as Ginn can remember how to catch the ball. Open up the field with Ginn, and Marshall, and then you set up players like Bess and Hartline.

I think the biggest thing people are neglecting to mention is that defenses we play might actually play HONEST against us. No more stacking the box knowing that we have no threat in the air.

Im not sure how I feel about giving up TWO seconds for him.. Kinda feeling like we got ripped off.. I think he coulda been had for just 1 second, maybe another 5 or something, but not 2 seconds.

One thing is for certain...This makes Henne the second best QB in the division and he should easily be able to get to 3500 yards this season.

Are you guys insane? Remember Roy Williams? Cost the boys a 1,3,6....

What did the Jets give up for Braylon "no hands" Edwards?

Marshall is definately a top 5 reciever in the league....we were going to use a pick in the first 2 rounds this yr on a Wr anyway....so rather than a rookie, we get marshall and only paid a #2 next yr more than it would have cost us to get a big ? in the draft.

    oh no
next you are going to say we should have used a first instead on bryant
it took 2 second round picks to get him.
    that is the cost
    that is what we spent
    get over it
although i did hear peter king say it was our 43rd this season and a third next year

The best part is....we just one-upped the Jets two days after their big signing. Does this mean we just swept them again? I'll say YES!

yeah i heard peter king on dan patrick this morning say it was the the 43rd this year and possibly the second or more than likely a third next year.

it sucks im stuck at work and that is the only sports station i can stream. they got everything else filtered out

sapp was on the show and says denver has no idea what they are doing and miami should be very excited to have marshall for what it's worth

WRs will not make Henne a great QB, only Henne can do that. he needs to improve and stop throwing late game picks.

Marshall has some "problems" but catches 100 passes a year, is a 3 time in a row Pro Bowler and is called "The Beast" at 6'4" 230 pounds and is known for picking up yards after the catch.

I like the 2x2nd rounders rather than a 1st because we can take almost anyone with the 12th pick and fill another need.

Plus, I expect that this will stop all the Dez Bryant threads!

I'd keep Ginn for kick offs etc and from time to time let him line up in the slot.

I think Hartline and Marshall will/should be the starters.
