Now that we have Marshall in the fold, who are your guys top five on your draft board. 1. Eric Berry- Best player that is likely to drop, but how far? Also we have a need! 2. Earl Thomas- We have a Big NEED for a FS, so if Berry isn't there i see Earl Thomas being the next option. 3a. Brandon Graham- Being a Buckeye fan I have see this guy play, and is he something! Great in the trenches against TE and O-Lineman at Michigan. Lots of Talent! 3b. Dan Williams- Living in TN I have seen this guy a ton. He has a motor that almost never stops, and has perceivable talent that could blossom. 5. Trade down I don't believe anyone else will be considered if these are off the board. How about you guys?
You need to throw Morgan & McClain into the mix as well. Both could be stud players playing for Ryan.
I haven't seen Morgan, so i won't comment on him. I only see the regime drafting McClain only if Crowder is traded.
We need a NT in the 1st. Convert Sean Smith into a FS and have Will Allen and Vontae Davis as our corner. Draft a TE and Defense with the rest of the picks.
Dez Bryant - Our air attack with Henne, Dez and Brandon for the next decade would be sick. CJ SPiller - We need a top end RB as Ricky and Ronnie start to slow from age/wear and tear. Eric Berry - if somehow he falls our backfield would be young, dynamic and a serious preventative threat against the air attacks from the other AFC East teams. Earl Thomas Or my personal favorite, trade down to mid teen's and get a second rounder as well. Then go BPA. But trading first round picks is not always easy, so the ideal conditions and trading partner and a player they want would have to be on the board at 12, on top of a limited window to make the trade. But it would best suit our needs now.
could you Imagine Dez and Brandon Marshall on the field at the same time i know it wont happen but that is really nice to think about. Now my first choice is Trading down picking up a second round pick and still keeping a first if we cant trade down then Draft Eric Berry or Earl Thomas or a OLB
Ya i didn't put it in any order really. But this FO has a tendancy to address certain positions in droves. Like the 3 running backs in their first draft and then loading up on the DB's in the second draft. It actually wouldn't suprise me if they took Dez at 12, if say Eric Berry was off the board already. Especially if there is a round 3-6 running back they like which would make them less interested in Spiller at 12. The marshall move actually makes me think our offensive strategy is going to change this season. I think a lot of their moves are based on their enamoured belief in Henne's ability, based on his play last year. So why not get Henne two very talented WR's going into offseason training. It could very well solve their 2 WR and QB worries for a long long time, plus Dez could come in and not be expected to solve all our passing game woes. He could be brought along the right way as a number 2 in his first few seasons.
