He does if we get rid of Brown. A Chris Johnson-type player? How do you pass up on that?

If we traded up, I'd rather it be for Berry than Spiller.

He doesn't make much sense from an immediate need stand point, Ricky isn't gonna be around for long, and Ronnie's days in miami may be numbered, especially if he get injured yet again(which has been the unfortunate story of his career). Love those 2 guys, but i think we need to plan for the future a little bit and if spiller falls to us, take him.

I hope we don't trade Ginn. WE got the all arounder, the utility guys, and the burner. I think it an absolute mistake unless we get reallly good value.

    Plus, ginn's salary is cheap.

Maybe, keep in mind the NFL is now more of a 15 carry league than a 30 carry league, Spiller could easily play a Tony Dorsett role for the phins, and he maximizes what we do well, namely run block.

He does, just not currently. Sure Brown and RW might be gone next year but I'd worry about that next year.

This year the Phins need some more defensive help so if they do trade up, hopefully it'd be for a S, LB, or DT.

Why would we get spiller when we have ronnie and ricky? Ill take those two right now considering we have other way more important needs to address.

    stupid.

keep ginn, hes cheap, hes better than any other special teamer we would get....it takes away another need for us (if we got rid of him we'd need a kick returner) and with a #1 in marshall now taking up the safety over the top, ginn would be deadly on someones nickle corner with no safety help.

i dont like ginn. but i have always said, with a #1 WR, he can be a very very deadly weapon. KEEP HIM!

We're not trading up. No way. If we move, we'll move down, since we're trying to acquire more picks.

    oh

    and

    bye bye

    Ginn

and take your family with you!

He's the perfect player for the Wildcat, he can do it all. Run between the tackles, catch out of the backfield, line up in the slot, return kickoffs and punts. He plays very strong and aggressive and very fast. He can carry the load. He can do it all. Probably sounds what Reggie Bush was supposed to be but trust me, this guy is the real deal.

Spiller added to what we have wth Marshall would make our offense 100% better. I wouldn't even have to watch the rest of the draft.

Sure he does...Brown, RW and Cobbs are all FAs next season. Brown has an injury history that he has to overcome, and this regime dislikes injury issues. RW will be 33 come the start of the season at running back. You just don't know when Father Time will catch up to him and he hasn't had to carry the load, with the exception of 7 games last year for a long time. At the end of the season, you could see it catching up to him.... Cobbs is at best a change-of-pace RB and coming off an ACL...

I know that fans and coaches want to put the best players on the field, but the GMs responsibility is to look at the future as well as this coming season during the draft and FA....so going after Spiller isn't too far fetched...

You pass on it and shore up a much greater need and take Berry.

All true but the team has them for this season and no NT or FS. So if they want to move up in the draft I'd much rather see them go defense, which was, by far, the weak link last season.
