Got a strong feeling we draft......

DEZ BRYANT still with the 12th pick, thats only if steelers dont offer us a trade

can u imagine B marshall and dez brayant out there??? there is no way anybody stop those two together, it'll be unfair to Defensive coordinators that we face

A discussion about this very topic is taking place already.

They have more pressing needs than another wide receiver, really. Saftey and outside backer are ridiculous needs at this point, it really hurts that Clark decided to stay with Pittsburgh.

Plus, they just invested $50 million dollars in a WR. I doubt they'd want to invest another ~$20 million on a guy at the same position who hasn't proven he can do ANYTHING at the next level, or even remember the right cleats or to show up to games on time, or.... you get the point.

We should try our best to move up for Eric Berry. If we stay at #12 I want BPA, and if that's CJ Spiller (and it may very well be him), then grab him. I think Spiller is overall better than Dez.

well i wouldnt be upset if we indeed would pick him, i doubt it though, but still this regime has shown that they like to double up on positions....

Yes I can imagine Marshall and Bryant on the same team. It would be a DISASTER. Not only because of two huge ego's wanting the ball on one team, but because we would continue to lose and lose and lose thanks to an awful defense. Just say no to Dez Bryant unless you prefer to lose an awful lot of games by ignoring a defense without starters at FS, OLB, and a career backup at the most important position in a 3-4, NT.

While the offensive possibilities would be great, I dont see it happening. We have too many holes to fill on the defensive side of the ball still. If anything, I see us trading down a few spots in the first round in an attempt to get back into the second round.

we just cant, defensive holes are just too big...

    2009
    Offensive ranks
    Scoring: 15th
    Yardage: 17th

    Defensive ranks
    Scoring: 25th
    Yardage: 22nd

and if you take away the games Penny started, our offensive ranks with Henne at the helm were even better...

we need to fix this defense to have any chance at anything

Got the strong feeling you are wrong.

    Safety, LB, NT.

    In that order.

Seriously... this infatuation with Bryant needs to stop. We've got our receiver in Marshall now. Time to beef up the defense. And if we were to go offense with our 1st pick (assuming we trade down), I'm almost positive we'd take Gresham or another receiving TE before we got another WR.

That's never happening, though. This is gonna be a defensive draft for us, for sure.

Elite WR's are hard to find in the draft. You realize how many busts happen with WR picks? Heck, look at Ginn. Most of the time, teams just get lucky with mid to late round picks with WR's like Colston and such.

WR is a hard position to accurately pick for.

    While defense is much easier.

Defensive players you can ALWAYS find every single year in the draft

I take Bryant with #12, trade some guys to get our 2nd rounder back, and spend the rest of the draft filling up Defense.

what the hell happens if Marshall gets suspended? You guys act like Marshall is not at risk.

screw that. Take Dez Bryant and let Chad Henne GO WILD!!!

Bring back the Marino-Mark Brothers super air attack days! !!!

I got a strong feeling your wrong. We need defense.

I agree we may trade out, but we are not picking a WR

If we trade Brown I could see us picking Spiller

I love Dez probably as much as anyone here, and I think now we have to take defense at #12.

So you acknowledge the risks that a lot of WR don't pan out, even first rounders, then say we take Bryant with the defense needing a lot of help? Bryant may be a fine NFL player but it's not 100% guaranteed he will be. We have a WR now we know is pretty dang good (along with a young and competent supporting cast), if we happen to miss on the first round pick and lose out on a guy who could potentially strengthen our defense then we screwed up pretty good. Taking Spiller for insurance against a Brown injury or for next season when R&R both might be gone makes some sense, but other than that build that defense up.

I wish! but Denver is sure to grab him and I see us taking a Safety, thats, to me, our greatest need. Then a big, good, young NT, OLB can wait last

If Earl Thomas and Berry are both gone, I honestly wouldn't care if we did.

It would be between Bryant and McClain for me, and neither is a need at the moment. I don't really like Kindle at all, I'd be pissed if we took him. Though I'd cheer him regardless.

Otherwise I'd see if I could trade down. I could also live with Spiller but I dont see RB as a huge need this offseason.
