All 10 ESPN "experts" are picking Boston in either 6 or 7.

    I love it.

Hate the song but ... OH LET'S DO IT.

Boston is favored in the series at -180.

There is quite a few touts calling the Heat the BEST BET in round one.

Boston is a 4.5 FAV in game 1.

    SEND IT IN $$$$$$$$

we are hot..they are not. **** Rondo. If it wasn't for Rondo..we would have a shot at a 4-1 win. He is the key.

I am seriously tempted to do just that. As close to a sure bet as that is, I barely have two pennies to rub together.

Why is this so lost on the rest of the world? No one in the media even acknowledges it. Just this morning on Mike & Mike, they were saying "imagine if Wade and Bron played together somewhere", and then they started saying the Knicks have the money to do so and that is what their trying to do in terms of getting 2 stars.

No mention of the fact that Miami has ridiculous cap space to buy up anyone in FA they want on top of Wade.

How long do you guys think it will take for the media to get clued in?

ESPN's talking heads? Probably never. Some columnists will get it close to the start of free agency. Maybe someone accidentally says it on-air and the show host instantly expresses disbelief. But the national media is probably going to sleep on this until we add Wade plus the second max, and then they'll spend two days whining, asking "How could this have happened? Isn't the salary cap designed to prevent this?"

Unstated but implied in their ignorance and eventual complaining: "We love the Knicks, so this sucks."

    The BIAS is just THICK.

It is not a conspiracy. It is very real.

The Crawl at the bottom of ESPN said "The move frees up 34 million for the Knicks, enough for two max players such as Lebron, Wade, and Bosh."

No mention that THIS MOVE GUARANTEES the Heat the MOST cap space..almost 7 million MORE than the Knicks..WHILE WE KEEP A FA in WADE!! Which really means that we have more since we can easier go into the luxury tax to fill out the roster.

    It is ridiculous.

We (me and HD, etc..) told you all this MONTHS ago..and all we needed was a calculator and the ESPN Heat salary page. this wasn't hard to figure out.

BTW, SOME NEWS...there is word that JO will ask for a mid-level deal...i say give it to him..you would have:

    PG-?
    Wade
    9-10 Million dollar man
    Stoudmire/Bosh
    JO

(With Beasley to deal for a PG)

That looks like a dynasty to me.

If Miami re-signs Wade to the max along with Amare/Bosh (or LeBron, or NOT!) to the max... WE WILL NOW HAVE $8-10 MILLION PER YEAR TO OFFER A THIRD PLAYER.

Don't forget that by Toronto missing the playoffs, we don't have the money set towards the 15th pick of the draft either.

    In short,

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IUH3JQjcweM"]YouTube- **** Just Got Real HD[/ame]

I am predicting a Wade/Amare/Haywood offseason to be conservative, but we've got potential to do better now.

    G - Carlos Arroyo / Mario Chalmers
    G - Dwyane Wade / Daequan Cook
F - Quentin Richardson / Dorell Wright / James Jones
    F - Amare Stoudemire / Michael Beasley
    C - Brendan Haywood / Joel Anthony

+ first round pick & veterans looking to bandwagon. All aboardddddddd! (Come shoot 3's for us, Jesus Shuttlesworth... lol)

    Stolen from RealGM:

Give me Brendan Haywood or some combination of two starting caliber vets.

I'd like to re-sign Arroyo, Wright, and Q for cheap (minimum). Would go over the tax for Haslem.

If we can move James Jones with our pick, then we'd be able to realistically go after Joe Johnson in addition to Wade + Amare/Bosh!

Pierce is a hoe *** _______ too and I'm going to make sure he hears it when I go to game 4.

Hope he goes down FOR REAL (too much faking from him) in front of where I'm sitting. I'm going to scream the nastiest things. I promise I will get KG to Ron Artest me, and when he does, I'm going to drop down and come up with a right all up in his balls.

Remember when Pierce pulled the exact same **** against the lakers a couple of years ago? He went down and agony was on his face and then in 2 minutes he removed his glasses and changed into his underwear and BAM he's superman. I gotta admit, I'm a Wade fan because he's on the heat but feel he flops waaay too much and lot of the times cry for a foul that was never there. I know everyone does it, but not like Wade. But anyway, i now feel Pierce has taken the crown for biggest actor/flopper. Pierce is a little ***** and I hope Joel Anthony decks the **** out of him.

It looked to me like Richardson came over to see if Pierce was okay and Garnett elbowed him away. That elbow was what started everything.

we dominated this game and then a lid went on the basket.

it had nothing to do with their defense. We had 11 UN-FORCED TO's in the second half.

I felt for SPO, it was funny..you could tell that he was going through the entire playbook..and then just said.."**** it, ISO with Wade." Then Wade would turn it over as well.

As good as our defense was, we gave them too many easy scoring opportunities, and we really didn't have anybody have a solid game.

We gave this one away...you HAVE TO win these games...you can't blow leads in the playoffs.

Anyway..KG is the worst fake tough guy in the league. I loved Haslem getting in his face and calling him a *****. LOL

That pile of **** actually stood by our bench and tried to play alpha dog. It was too funny. Then the big dummy throws an elbow that can cost him a game suspension.

He is the epitome of a loser (I know he has a ring..so does Antoine Walker). it is going to be fun watching his decline into 9th man backup Center status.

Anyway..Wade was pretty bad in the second half.....and WHAT DOES WADE DO after a bad game? Like death and taxes boys....

This is going to be the BEST series of the first round.

There is no way the NBA suspends Garnett. They have shown to be pretty lenient against players they don't want out of the playoffs (was it last year Rondo literally punched Brad Miller in the face and threw a ball at someone else and didn't miss a game?)

Shame because I would love to see Garnett finally face some repercussions for being a b*tch.

Who is the enforcer on your team? Haslem? Love to see someone come in and just lay Garnett out.

Magloire. it is a running joke with heat fans...we see Magloire come into a game we all say "Okay, somebody is going to get an elbow to the face."

he didn;t play Game 1 because we went small to use speed against them..

if anthony is not effective off the bench again...we might see magloire.

Q was checking on KG's boy(toy) Pierce. Which is a impressive title considering both of them have functioning vaginas and yet they have adam's apples, weird huh?

just heard KG is suspended for game 2.
thats the least they could do.

that gives the heat a better chance of winning game two. if we can take that and both of our home games then that leaves us one win away from taking the series.

if we make it past boston we get so see wade and lebron match up in the playoffs. id expect to see the cavs win, but who doesnt love watching wade and lebron play "anything you can do i can do better." that would be awesome to have them match up for at least 4 games minimum.

Section, is that you? Have you given up on Beasley?
One can't help but wonder if that ping pong ball fell to Miami and we got Rose... Watching him wiggle through three defenders and hit off balance shot after off balance shot is a thing of beauty.. Imagine Wade and Rose with the 2010 free agent class coming our way..
I for one see more of Billy Owens in Beasley than a dominant PF.... What a waste..

I can't speak for him, but I think his stance on Beasley is that his game is still gestating and he's a good piece to have on this team, but would deal him if it meant contending right now.

Nothing wrong with that at all. I happen to agree.

Rose wouldn't be able to Play with Wade..and Wade hurts Rose's game as well.

Both guys need the ball to be effective.

Beasley is 21 years old. His problems are mental in nature. Sometimes it just clicks on...he is at the same place where Kevin Garnett, Amare..etc...were at this stage of their development.

He is the exact opposite of that.

The guy just took like 59 shots in game 1.

They would not be able to play together. both dominate the ball. I am not coming off the mountain with this, this is a common belief.

    I have my doubts...

the only times I can ever remember..Dwyane Wade showing some "Diva" behavior is when the Heat has used other ball handlers down the stretch.

it is not to say that Rose won't change..but he hasn't shown that he likes to share the ball down the stretch.

    Anyway..further analysis of game 1.....

This is now the 5th consecutive time that Dick Baveta refs a game and the Heat loses the FT battle. Coincidence?

The Celts took 28 FT's to our 13.

God bless the training staff and the contributions of medical science. It truly is a miracle that they could get all that sand out of his vag- I mean that his stinger miraculously healed, why its almost as if he was faking the whole thing, but no Pierce would never do such a thing.
