I didn't read any further than you opening post. He is stating fact about our new WR. Lets just twist everything we hear from every player and post it. Then the weak can line up behind and follow suit. Pretty soon we have Nazi Germany. The post are ******ed and the ones after it are probably better:up:

Actually, no, if folks expected Henne to take a direct swipe at Ginn's play, they are mistaken, however if one bothers to look at the subtext:

"He will take on Cb's and try to run over them rather than head out of bounds (unlike Ted Ginn)..."

Why bother to say that if it were not directed at Ginn's play?

Which is a huge difference, his play vs his personage, Ginn did not whine in the media or cause problems for his teammates, his game did include ducking out of bounds and other things that B Marshall does not do, or has not done.

Then who was he referencing there slick?

Do you think Henne had someone in mind when he said that very specific thing?

I don't care that he said that, because it is the truth of the matter, but let us not speak falsely now, Henne was referencing Ted Ginn when he praised BMarsh's style of play.

Did you consider that our new WR is one of the few in the league that looks for punishment. Could it be that he is praising his abilities and nothing further?
There have been a lot of studs over the years that look for the sideline. Possibly he is complimenting our new guy?

I stand by this thread being ******ed and don't call me slick. I don't have to be slick to twist a good mans statement. We have Presidents that can do that for us.

Not that simple, and I respect your opinion as you are long in the tooth as it were, but imho by specifying what Marshall does well, he was pointing those comments at what Ginn doesn't do well...

And what is "slicker" than horse flop?

    ;)

Oh my God, THIS IS A FOOTBALL FORUM NOT MARTHA STEWART'S FORUM! Would everyone just quit being so sensitive. Of course Henne is taking a jab at Ginn, anyone with common sense can see that. Who last year was notorious for constantly running out of bounds? Who ran out of bounds right before the 1st down marker? I assume everyone are adults here so how can people think Henne may not be talking about Ginn because he didn't mention his name?

Henne doesn't have to shut up. He is the starting quarterback of the Miami freaking DOLPHINS. He started since he was a freshman for the Michigan freaking WOLVERINES. I want my quarterback not being afraid to speak his mind.

I agree with this. Ted Ginn is not our problem anymore. Let's all stop talking about the bust that is Ted Ginn and start talking about Brandon Freakin Marshall.

    ?????? Are you serious?

He is praising his new WR that he needs to work with. What he said was true, and he never mentions Ginn (even though it sure sounds like Ginn).

I see nothing at all wrong with that quote.

It didn't occur to me at the time that there was more to the quote. If that wasn't meant as a shot, then I retract what I said. But if it was, my point still stands.

Here is the quote... again it seems as a complement to BM than a shot at Ginn...

    http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=09000d5d81792959&template=with-video-with-comments&confirm=true

Let's be realistic here... is that a shot at Ginn???... NO...
