I don't care what anybody says. Camarillo has a spot on my roster for as long as he wants it. He kept us from going 0-16. I will always be grateful that as a off the bench nobody came into the game and put the weight of the world on his shoulders and ran like hell into the end zone and gave us the win when we needed it most. Ever since that catch he hasn't looked back. He caught 50 for 50 passes last season. What more do you want from him? No on a trade for Camarillo. Just so he can go to the Patsies and burn us like another no namer off the bench that we groomed.

100% agree. The fact that Camarillo saved us in 07' and has earned his way onto a Bill Parcells team twice, through an ACL tear, proves Camarillo deserves to stay.

I Like having Cam on the Phins. He's the dude that caught and ran for the TD that kept Miami from being 0-16. But, the question is what would we get FOR Cam, not do you want to trade him- I don't think anyone want's to trade him. IMO every team has a guy like Cam, a 500-600 yard guy that is dependable for catching and doesn't do much else, really. That's not hating on Cam, every team has one though. He doesn't have superior potential that some team may tap into (like the 49er's hope to do with Ginn). He doesn't return punts/kickoffs. There isn't anything in Cam's game that wow's you. He is steady and dependable and the league is full of those types. I bet every team has a guy like Cam that the QB likes, he works hard and the coaches love but isn't a "name", no Diva attitude, just a lunch-pail like player. Those guys don't get traded, at the end of their career they get cut.

This thread is moot with Ginn being shipped out...I doubt that any of these guys are traded, unless someone desperately needs a WR and comes to us with an offer...not likely to happen now though...

I'm not wure why we would want to get rid of him. Did he even have a drop last year? I don't think he did. The dude is clutch.

Well, here is the thing about Greg C, he is a good, to really good, Wr, but as long as we have him, we won't try to upgrade the position.

Greg C won't create long plays, he does have insanely good hands and he does the small things like block really well, but he won't catch many long passes because he doesn't really have the speed for it.

But right now, he is our #2 Wr, I can live with that as he is a solid player.

I think Hartline is our #2 behind Marshall.

I don't really see much difference between him and Welker. They are both the same type of reciever, run the same type routes, have great hands, are shifty but not fast and have a knack for getting open. It seems to me we got a 2nd for Welker. It will be interesting to see if he lights it up similarly to Welker when he got Moss as his #1 stablemate.

I 'll tell you who is on the hot seat this year, is Bess. If he has another season with the drops like last year, he won't be here in 2011.

I agree, Hartline is more than likely our #2. He has more speed than Bess or Camarillo, he runs good routes and has good hands.

Hmm, I don't think he is Den, his targeted/catch ratio was 53%, Greg C's should be much higher as he is a more polished Wr.

But looking at Hartline's stats this jumps out at me:

    31 receptions...26 1st downs...that is amazing.

    http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/9372

To give that some context, DBess had 76 receptions and 48 first downs.

If anything, we need a burner on the outside as Greg C, Hartline and Marshall all will go over the middle, but won't chase off Safety help over the top.

To me, Ryan Grice Mullens is here to pressure DBess, they are the same sort of player but RGM is much faster, DBess should win that competition but if RGM shows that speed in TC and the preseason, things could get interesting.

Honestly, I'm not too familiar with Mullens. Where is he from? I'll have to look him up. I like Bess and in fact I like all of our remaining recievers, but I do wish we had another guy on the outside with some speed.

OK he's the guy who was Bess's teammate at Hawaii. Don't like the "More quick than fast" because we already have guys who fit that description. Could be interesting though, obviously has good hands from his stats.

    Then again, From the Vancouver Sun;

"The downside is that he fumbles frequently. Indeed, Grice-Mullen was parked for a time last season by the Lions because he kept dropping opportunities, both as a receiver and returner."
