QB- I think everyone is in agreement that Henne is our starting QB for years to come. So the question is what to do with our remaining 3. I love the idea of having Penny as a back-up,. Not only for his brain but also if Henne gets hurt I would be confident with him coming in.
Tyler Thigpen is interesting. He is possible trade bait for a number of teams and could be a valuable chip Miami can use to attain picks in the draft. But on the other hand Penny is getting old and I like the idea of having Thigpen as Henne's backup.
Many have written off Pat White as a QB, including me. So the question is what to do. There are talks of him being moved to WR, but his future with this team is yet to be seen.
In my opinion I think the best option is to look to trade Thigpen for picks and keep Penny as the backup for a couple of years. With White I would make him a utility man, im the same mold as a Cribbs for Cleveland.

RB- We currently hold one of the best two back stables in the league. I would like to see the R&R Express to keep running through this year but that too is not certain. Ronnie Brown coming off a foot injury has been rumored to be on the trading block. This would be a sad day for Dolphin fans. If that is done the Phins would look to Cobbs and Hillard to fill the void left. The phins may also look to bolster their RB depth by drafting one this year. Personally, I like Hardesty and Tate as fitting in well, with Hardesty coming straight from Brown's mold.

WR- Wow what a difference a couple of days can make. The Dolphins traded for Marshall and then later moved Ginn out of town. This move turns Miaimi for a team with the WR corps with similar skill sets to Gilligan's Island cast members. But now we have a Top3 WR in the game and good young talent to support.
After being drafted last year in the 4th round Brain Hartline surprised alot of Fans with his sneaky speed and athletisismismism. Even showed enough to keep Pat Turner's cleats fro ever hitting a Dolphins logo. But more eyes will be on Hartline this year and he looks to imrove upon his rookie numbers. Also the dolphins have Bess who has become one of trhe best slot wr in the game and no should have more opportunities come his way. And lets not forget the reliable one , Camarillo. With these for the doplhins are locked up for years ahead.

Plus, our starting QB, WR and RB are good friends who hang out together, as evidenced by my sig :shifty:

QB - White...what a dilemma..not a QB, not a WR, not a RB...what is he ?? Sad thing is because they blundered so badly with selecting him at #44, they almost have to keep him at least another year. Thiggy has some game to him, making him the most likely to be moved out. I'd like for it to happen during the draft, but we'll see. Penny and Henne are set. But could Penny bring a little more than Thiggy ?? I think perhaps...

RB - we have the best stable of backs in the league...uhhh, when they are healthy. That means we don't have a solid stable. Ronnie has proven to be a stud...when healthy. Ricky is Ricky...his drums beat to a different tune, but he's good back to have on hand. Cobb may or may not be healthy this year. Sheets is a guy you'd like to see get a shot, but at who's cost ?? I'm concerned about this group...adding someone makes sense...

WR - Marshall upgrades this group exponentially, but we have no top end speed anywhere. Ginn was that guy for us. Who's gonna stretch the field ?? Who's our Alvin Harper ?? That would be the only concern with this group. All good guys although all very much alike. Bess is the weakest because of lack of top speed but catches everything thrown his way. Hartline has a little more speed and is developing. Cammy is a little less athletic Hartline, but more developed, better route runner. Turner ?? Who knows yet. We could use some help here...but not worth the early rounds...
