EDIT: Oops.. we had a whole thread for this... mods feel free to move if you like. Although its kind of nice to have the schedule as the first post no?
I hate that we end with the Pats. Woulda rather seen an easy game like the Bills there Of course, its got to be on the road too in NE
Who the hell hates us in the NFL? Oakland after a Monday night game...jesus...short week already and then out west?
Wasn't Ross lobbying the league for something like that though so we could boost ticket sales and try and have some later starts early in the year to avoid the heat? What a moron.
yea, ending the season against new england sucks, but maybe we can pick up some steam from weeks 11-16
Wow..tough stretch of games...Minn, Jets, NE, Cinci, GB, Balt, Tenn 7 straight games against playoff caliber teams.
Eh? We have 10 days between the Bears and the Raiders games. Yet again no heat advantage this year, start the season with 2 road games plus games in New Jersey and Boston in December/January. A very tough run of 8 games in a row against playoff quality teams from weeks 2-10. Pretty horrible looking schedule all in all.
Can't really complain about this, IMO. We picked up the Raiders and the Titans from our non-swing schedule. You want to go to the playoffs, you can with this schedule. It's hardly murderer's row. No excuses. Play like a champion.
bye week in the 5th week N.E. is the last game of the year,up there, AGAIN? Jets in Dec too.We always seem to play 2 division rivals away this month. at GB,Balt,Cincy,3 out of 4 weeks with Pitt in between? I mean, really, that's even odd if all those teams were in the same division and we had to play them that year. Ross is a moron,I don't care if the damn fans sweat for 1pm home games in Sept.If they don't like it,don't go to the games. He seems to have gotten his wish though.Back to back primetime games against division foes in Sept...LMAO maybe the Williams sisters will have an exhibition on the 50 at halftime for all of our enjoyment. hey, besides all that ,I love the schedule,we're going to run the table!
Well we get the Jests without Santonio Holmes in the first 4 games, but we more than likely will get the Steelers with Ben R.
It's gonna be a brutal December... They should really consider signing Bear Grylls to complement Quentin Moses on the strong side...
after looking at week 6-11 it kinda scared me we really need to address our Defensive Needs in this draft. Kinda Wished U Resigned J.T. Huh Parcells?
Yeah this looks pretty tough. If we can weather the storm and finish these games in good shape in the standings, the last half of the schedule looks mouth watering.
The schedule looks totally do-able. The only hot spots I see are the division games in December. BUT, Sanchez was throwing bricks in the cold weather last year, so unless that's changed, that could very well be a boon for us. Either way, I'm fine with a tough schedule. At least we won't fall backwards into the playoffs like SOME team in the NFL....
hahahah six games, guess who Big Ben's first game back is against?!?!?! Adam_Schefter Filed to ESPN: @mortreport and I are reporting that Ben Roethlisberger will be suspended four to six games, with conditions attached.
very soft second half...If Miami goes .500 Weeks 1-10, they will be in good shape.... I know there are only 9 games, they cant go .500....okay so one game over...
Wow, so basically Goodell just handed up the Steelers on a platter to anyone who plays them. I'll take easy wins. I love it when we prove ourselves, but a QBless Steelers team? They better hope the defense is on point all game.
