Heres an article talking about how Beasley should step up in Garnett's absense:

Wade: ‘We need more from Michael’

Miami's only chance of winning any game(s) in this series is Dwyane Wade going off for 35-40+

So far I am not confident he can do that tonight.

JO single handedly responsible for the reason we're down 4 instead of up 10 right now. GET HIM OUT OF THE GAME ASAP. FOR GOOD.

He's 1/8 and still attempting long contested jumpers at will.

And where the hell is Wade? We're off until FRIDAY. He should be playing 40+ minutes.

Jermaine O'Neal is 4/23 in this series so far... and Dwyane Wade is still passive.

ANOTHER GAME with a 6-8 minute scoring drought, WTF!

Good season, Heat fans. This one is over quicker than last year.

Thanks for the savior, NFL Draft.

Coming in I knew we weren't going to win this series. I also knew that Michael Beasley sucked and his time with this organization was hopefully coming to a quick ending (well, hopefully). However, it is VERY discouraging to watch our franchise player/superstar out there with the "I could care less" mentality. Sadly enough, that mentality has been on display for much of the season albeit the success the team had to end, but I didn't think I'd see it in the playoffs... two games in a row. Dwyane Wade has quit on this team and series. He's in 2010 mode with Riley.

All I want to see in Games 3 & 4 is Michael Beasley going off for the sake of trade value. That is it. I could care less about anything else.

EDIT: I also want to see Big Cat injure KG and/or Paul Pierce. Classless? Yes. Serious? Yes. Ain't no such thing as "class" in sports.

There should be a mercy rule in the NBA. We should be competing for a lottery pick, not the playoffs.

EDIT: Ray Allen is just ridiculous.

Wouldve liked the team to have given some effort, but alas, this series shows what kind of team we really are: Dwayne Wade and then there's everyone else. Some players are more defined in their roles than others, like Q-Rich, Haslem, JO, Arroyo, Anthony. Some aren't, such as Chalmers, Cook, Beasley, J.Jones.

Speaking of Beasley, the clock is running out on the experiment. I think this playoff series exposes the fact that Beasley is not a fit here. Clearly the kid has talent and can be someday a top 20 player in this league. But not on this team. He needs to be part of a running team that has a young nucleus. We're a halfcourt team that needs two established veterans at key positions in the starting lineup and better young, hungry players off the bench. So I think Riley is watching and putting together a trade package for a blockbuster move this offseason, with Bease as the featured player available.

    At least I hope so.

Wade stat padding there... unbelievable. It's like he basically said, "lol, you mad that I could have done this earlier in the game?" to his team. He went out with 10 points up 4, came back in down 8 and basically just cruised. Didn't score or even look to score again until the Heat were down by, guess how many... 34! He went on to drill FOUR triples in the span of a minute or two. Four triples that probably make a difference earlier, you know, back when he was in cruise control watching his team get man handled in the playoffs on national television.

I am furious beyond belief with Wade at the moment. I don't want to go to game 4 because I don't want to wear his jersey, and he's the only jersey I have. The rest of the team is TRASH, but I expect more from Dwyane Wade. He's months away from a $17 million per season commitment from this organization. Show us that you give a rat's ***.

I'll get over it and I'm sure everyone else will, too. But if we hear some, "the rest of the team wasn't aggressive" bull**** again... all hell will break loose.

I think Miami is proving its more than a Chris Bosh away from being a title contender. Aside from UD and Wade, there's nothing here. JO and Beas went 7-24 with no KG on D. Wade went 11-18, 5 AST, 2 REB, 2 BLK and 1 TO. I'm sorry, but if I'm Wade I don't blame him for leaving. This team, even with Chris Bosh, wont go far. Look at Utah, they have Deron Williams and Carlos Boozer and nothing. Still need a supporting cast and right now, I don't know why Wade wouldn't go to CHI. Noah, Rose, Wade is a nucleus you can win with in the East.

At the same time, we're also proving to Pat Riley that this ENTIRE roster needs to be blown up. The ONLY two players who deserve spots on next year's "contending team" are Wade and Haslem. That is it. I do not want to see a single member of this current basketball team on next year's roster. Actually, Joel Anthony is a fine second or third center. Q and Dorell are OK as last ditch options at SF if we can't upgrade the position. That is it. I am 110% done with Beasley, Chalmers, Cook, etc. Done. I don't ever want to see them in a Heat uniform again after next Sunday.

Thank God the cap went up. I don't want to max out three, though. I want to max Wade and Amare or Bosh, and sign-and-trade Beasley+Chalmers+Cook for the third chip just to rid ourselves of them and spare some more cap. Use the rest of the $10-15 million in cap space to fill out the roster, re-sign guys like Haslem, and load up on the vet minimum players. Go as hard as possible next year, maybe come up short, and build the bench with the mid-level exception in 2011.

Ideally, signing Wade and Amare + S&T for Rudy Gay or Joe Johnson using the three guys mentioned above would be a dream come true for me at this stage.

    This post is STUPID.

they have more cap space than just for adding a Bosh.

and with JUST a Bosh, they win game 1 and you don;t make this STUPID post.

What an overreaction. You actually compared a Bosh/Wade combo with a Deron/Boozer combo.

Anyway.....they lost for many reasons..too many to mention. They had a 29-25 lead and then you saw them miss layup after layup. They played like crap. The whining is ridiculous. They have two at home, got to make shots.

"They are far away from contending..they need more than Bosh." might be the dumbest post ever made in a Heat Thread. embarrassing.

Problem right now is... last season, Beasley's value was Amare Stoudemire. This season Phoenix didn't even want him. Can you imagine his value in the summer? Hell, if kept, can you imagine his value at the deadline next year? We'll be talking Mike Conley rather than Rudy Gay.

BTW...you don;t go to Chicago if you are wade..because you will be a first round exit for the next 10 years. Chicago needs shooters and a post player. Wade is NEITHER.

    Okay, enough basketball clinics.

    On to Friday.
