Later in the first than I wanted, but I'll take it. We should be getting their first, second and third rounders.
From the looks of it we gave up #12, #110 AND #173 We received #28, #40, #126 and LB Tim Dobbins. Not thrilled with swapping those 4th rounders. I much prefer what Denver have done so far. They managed to pick up 2 3rd rounders and a 4th plus still picking at #24.
i'm soooo happy we were able to get ryan mathews i figured once the bills took spiller, mathews wouldn't make it to us at 28 so i'm very excited we could move up even if it had to be that high good luck with the picks, and let me tell ya, you're going to love dobins, he's got ALOT of heart and a big motor and is a playmaker when given the chance to give you some kind of reference on who dobins is if you don't know him think back to the hochuli screw up vs cutler and the broncos...dobbins is the LB who forced the fumble!
I don't know about this trade, we are too far back now. All my defensive picks are flying off the board! Not going to be any BIG impact players left on D. Might as well take Bryant or Thomas if they are still there at #28
This is a good trade for us. Now we have the 28th and 40th pick in a deep draft. We'll get some great value with both of those picks.
I was expecting something like this. We now own a low 1st and a high second which, in this draft, we should be able to get 1st round value with both, not to mention we wont have to break the bank on either after making Dansby and Marshall the highest paid players at their respective positions.
We got SD 4th rd pick too. 125 pick 28th pick second rd 40th 4th rd 125 and Dobbins a hard nosed LB against the run
Lot of speculation, but according to the Miami Herald: So basically we swapped 4ths, swapped 1sts, gave up a 6th, and got a 2nd and Dobbins out of the deal
