I know some folks had an eye on this guy, so I figure I'd post. Mods can move if they feel the need.

If he is out his entire rookie season I think he could fall to us in the third

would fall much later - think Rodrique Wright - he was touted as a first rounder that we picked up in the 7th.

If it is that serious and he is available in the 6th then I think it's worth stashing him on IR and seeing what we get next year.

    We shall see.

What about the 4th? We lost some spots from the trade with San Diego, think the new slot is to far back?

As a UT fan, I really feel bad for the kid if this turns out to be true.

As a Phin fan, micro-fracture surgery REALLY scares me

I'm sorry for Kindle, but this does make me feel better. Didn't know this, did you Kiper?

Then I guess my comment about the 4th round is silly. If indeed he will be out for the year, we DO have plenty of late round picks. We could potentially "steal" this guy. Is it possible he goes undrafted?

Patsies will grab and stash him on IR before we do.

Being a fan of the Trailblazers and watching Greg Odum's career sputter after his microfracture surgery, I want nothing to do with Kindle unless we get him in 6th or 7th round.

Too bad. Pass. We want guys who can get in there now. Even in the later rounds, i would rather take a healthy kid who has something to prove and at the very least can be a striker on special teams.

If he is there in the 4th we better Sprint the card up when it turns our pick

My guess is the NFL scouts knew this cause this guy was a top 20 prospect and many thought that if the Dolphins passed him up at 12 that he would surely go to ATL, Tenn, or NE so they must of known it all along.

Hmm, well if he can't get a contract me might be able to hire a lawyer (take Steve Young and get him off the air), and sue these teams for releasing medical information about him.

unfortunately for him, he signed a waiver that allows medical information to revealed. HIPAA doesnt fly in professional sports. When he signed a contract with is agent, the clause was in there where he had to waive any and all abilty to keep medical information private.
