Certainly, I like what Detroit has done too. Lookin good for them so far, just like last years class.
Yeah, but who knows how they're going to use Odrick with this new style 3-4 Nolan is going to have us playing. Just because folks in the media didn't necessarily have Misi rated there, doesnt mean he's not going to be any good. Those guys write about football for a reason, GM's and scouts work in football for a completely different reason... They at least know what theyre doing. We hope I suppose thats true, but who knows who's going to be left. We still ahve a 4th, and 5th round pick too.
I'm starting to think that this FO has Jimmy Johnson syndrome. JJ was very good at finding hidden defensive gems in later rounds and trading down to get them. He started thinking he could do that with every position and that led to us trading down for worthless and useless RBs and WRs when great players were being picked with the picks we gave up. I don't know that this is happening with our FO, but it's all starting to seem frighteningly familiar.
Agreed. I like this draft too. It does not blow you away with flash but it is a move towards productive high motor guys who improved over their careers indicating some upside still remains.
I hear ya Rick. But, I'm guessing they have a plan. And, as it relates to FS, they must have some guys rated highly that are projected in the later rounds.
Eric Decker is a Bronco. McDaniels is definitely adding high character guys to his team. Great pick IMO.
Dont forget high character guys too. From all things I've heard/read, that's been mentioned with all of them too. btw... awesome sig!
we can salvage the season if we sign sharper for a 2 year deal. i have faith in Bell as a SS, especially playing along side Sharper. i didnt expect to fill every hole in the draft this year, and after yesterday and the 2nd round, knew it'd be impossible. but yeah, we're screwed otherwise.
That's ridiculous... There's nothing right about that. I dont get how its even possible. What does Bellicheat have all all these other coaches/gms to get them to do these ridiculous deals. And... Really carolina? You give up your second next year, to take Armanti Edwards in the 3rd this year? Great.
IT'S FUNNY.I had no comment from a statement I made here before. Made a funny about the so called Draft guru's and noone stepped up to respond? This is incredible, I thought we were all FinFans? I said some things about the cliques around here before. But Damn, you take this **** so seriously.
Edwards would still be available tomorrow at 112 for them to take. I've lost count at how many times the Pats have traded down.
Losing his voice big time. Its a pretty standard price. If you trade a pick this year for next you move up a round.
Yeah, and it's a pretty easy decision when you have the following pick. That's the benefit to trading down and stock piling picks.
Too bad our pick is so late in the 4th round. Couple of nice TE's kicking around still that would be nice to get our hands on. I think... I mean I hope our next pick is a TE or S
Yeah, that one has me scratching my head. Athletic guy so maybe Carolina has a few things in mind with him. Wish that 2011 2nd wouldn't have gone to NE though.
Pats are masters of flipping a round ahead the following draft. They've done it many, many times in the last few years. And they have Oakland's #1 from the Seymour trade. Luckily they aren't drafting nearly as well as in years past, or they would be unstoppable.
