I loved the picks so far but I was kinda wondering when we were going to draft for these position (S, FS, OLB)? What are you guys thinking 5th, 7th?? What are they waiting for??
Misi is your starting SOLB from day one. Wake/Anderson figure to rotate WOLB. You're right on behalf of the free safety position, though. Reshad Jones is still on the board I believe, but he'll probably go before #126. I'd go with the thought that they really like Culver and/or Clemons, but our pursuit of Rolle and Clark early in the free agency process kind of disputes that idea. Know what stands out to me, though? The New Orleans Saints spent their first round draft choice on a CB... that means one thing is certain: Malcolm Jenkins is moving over to FS, which is the spot previously held by a player of our interest. There must be something in the works........
Man alive the talent still out there is staggering! I just watched some video on Koa and it looks like he could play anything he wanted to. He is a very multi-talented kid. I would like another ILB, and OLB just to be safe. I felt sick when I watched Sean Lee go to Dallas. I really liked him. I would like a NT, FS, S, T and another LB candidate tomorrow. Ireland really deserves a ton of credit for the way he managed this. They (the FO) found a way to squeeze every drop of talent out of this draft.
I think we're good at ILB with the Tim Dobbins acquisition, but we could look to add someone in the 6th or 7th round as we still have five late round selections. I'd look at OLB in the 4th because a lot of guys are still available (Griffen, Gibson, Hardy, Norwood, etc.) as well as TE. If Dorin Dickerson is there.... he really intrigues me as an H-Back option ala Dustin Keller.
we got a OLB in Misi and we got our NT in Starks now all we need is a FS and we are good i think Reshad Jones in the 4th or maybe Robert Johnson in the fifth
starks is a 3-4 DE and a damn good one when ferguson went down it changed things stopping the run dont believe everything you might read starks at the nose i have to see it to believe it
It's embarrassing but with everything going on I totally forgot about Tim Dobbins. What's even more embarrassing is that I know very little about him or his play. Is he any good?
Last year: Tim Dobbins (55 tkls, 1 sck, 1 ff, 1 int) as backup Channing Crowder (52 tkls, 1 sck, 1 int) as starter
