.....Bill Parcells this weekend ? No video or still pics of him whatever that I saw. Was this Ireland's deal ? Is Bill already divorcing himself from the Dolphins ? I hope he isn't but he has never fulfilled a contract he has signed, and we are in the 3rd year of a 4 year deal.
I thought the team website had still photos put together inside the Dolphins war room... Sparano, Ireland, and Parcells were seated next to each other.
I don't think ESPN was allowed to get their usual "war room" pictures. That said, I doubt Parcells had nothing to do with it. I'm sure he crafted up the shopping list with Ireland and Sparano, but at the end of the day I'm pretty sure it's Ireland's job to push the button. Parcells just makes sure they've all discussed which one its gonna be
Does anyone have one of those pics ? Because the past two years at the very least we got video of him coming in and out of the facility in Davie. This year I saw ZILCHO.
Yeah, they showed our war room on aquavision. All three were seated next to each other. About as calm and relaxed as one can get. It really looked as if Ireland was the one making the calls. Tuna was there just to be there.
well that is kind of the point. hes not supposed to be completely running the show anymore. His contracts only one more season and then after that this is all Ireland and Sparano. (and Nolan, who i think had some input this season)
Yeah, on the miamidolphin.com site they had a studio cam of the WINZ radio show and every once in a while they'd flash over to the war room and Parcells was sitting there with them. If you surf around to the Herald, Sun-Sentinel or PBP draft articles, there's a picture in there somewhere of all three of them sitting there looking at a chart.
Go to miamidolphins.com and you can actually see some of the vid. Its kinda cool because you can see when we made some of the pics and the initial interviews with each player we picked with some of the radio announcers.
He does seem as though Parcells is letting go more and more to Ireland. If Ireland turns this into a deep playoff team this year, I am scared that Jerry Jones will offer Ireland a crapload of money and we lose our young architect.
Thanks guys, I guess I was just watching at the wrong times. It was just very curious to me, since there is always speculation that Tuna will be leaving.
