Time to post your home theater pictures. To the 80 year olds with dial up: this thread will load slowly.
crappy cell phone pic this is my office/den samsung 40" lcd onkyo 3.1 (center speaker has its own cubby hole in the part above the drawers ) ps3, 360, wii directv hd dvr i have to open the door when im using the ps3 or 360 (there are big holes in the back but both those consoles put off some major heat)
sorry it's a 720...i got it refurb'ed for 40 bucks from buy.com and it's like brand new... i have an 880 in my living room, this one is sleeker i think, and the screen seems to have a better resolution
Here's mine: Sammy HL-61A750. Going to get it professionally calibrated soon. Two front speakers are Infinity Primus P362's. Center Speaker is an Infinity Primus P350 Hard to tell but top to bottom goes: Onkyo 606 Xbox 360 - with Ace Combat 6 faceplate Direct TV HD receiver with DVR Onkyo DV-HD805 (hd-dvd player) PS3 (80GB w/ BC) Surround speakers are Infinity Primus P262's. 12" Sub, Primus PS212 Lots of movies and games. Rear speakers are Infinity Primus P142's. There's a Wii in the bottom right of the picture. it isn't currently connected obviously.
Yea, I can't wait to get the set calibrated. I already think it looks great, but everything I have read about people getting theirs calibrated feel the same as me. But then everyone seems shocked at how great it looks afterward.
I need bigger shelves. Seriously. My brother has like half my ps2 games as well. I didn't show my Playseat (racing chair), and I still have my rock band stuff in the garage that I need to find room for.
I think I can match you with PS3 games but after that I've got four Blurays and three 360 games, so not even close. Man I'm jealous.
Many of my HD movies are HD-DVDs which I got for like $5 or less. I use slickdeals.net a lot for deals on stuff.
Still amazed by the game and movie selections. I believe you could open your own rental business for some spare cash. Once again I bow at your media center's greatness.
I think I am going to impose a rule (that the Arbiter should like) that I can't buy any more movies until I watch all the ones I have.
If I ever get a new TV stand I'll post a pick. My setup is pretty good but my TV stand is AWFUL. I've been putting it off for awhile because of the possible TV upgrade that is coming in the future (going from 42" to either 48 or 52").
I have had my TV for over a year, and it is working outstanding. Awesome HD picture. The ratings on Best Buy were very good when I bought it as well. Got it for around $400 with BB coupon January of last year. No 32" TV came close to that price back then.
It kills me a little every day. I wish I could get into the walls and run speaker wire. Even the attic would be a lot of work. There's too many other things on top of the list right now though for me to get a proper management system installed.
I'll have to get a new picture up soon. I upgraded the Sammy 61a750 to a Mitsubishi WD-73C9. 73" of glory.
I got all of you beat You are looking at a 40 inch simulated wood Magnavox console TV with a prototype version of Home Pong. This prototype boasts the highest performance computer chip ever used in a consumer product as of 1975. Look on my works ye mighty and despair...
Now that is something I'd expect my wife to say if she saw those pictures. Real men don't care about cable management.
I'll post mine when I get a chance: 108" of 1080P projector love 7.1 surround 120W per channel. When I really crank it up for rockband my neighbor on the next street over says the bass rumbles inside his house.
Just bought new speakers over the weekend (not a new sub though), and will have to rearrange my room to get it all up and going. Once I get it set up (I'm making neater cables this time dammit ) I'll post pictures.
In the next few months I plan on making a new recreational room in my house. When I get that done I will post a picture.
Just got a brand new 42" Panasonic Plasma on sale at Best Buy for $389. Amazing deal, gorgeous picture. This is my first time going Plasma, and so far I am quite impressed. I can't wait to whip out my PS3 games on this one.
<---Failure. I never got pictures posted, and now I just received my 82" TV on Saturday. It's great. Fins games at my house this season.
