Hey guys, I'm joining a flag football league this summer and I want to pick up a pair of WR gloves. For those who play, which ones do you prefer? I'm hearing a lot of good things about Cutters and Nike, but most NFL players use the Reebok gloves. Just wondering if anyone here has preferences?
So you guys are the "Guy with Receiver gloves in a flag football game" guy. Do you guys also wear eye black? LOL
Well, Check it out, it seems everyone is wearing gloves. This site records and posts youtube vids of every game. The level isn't the greatest, so let's not pretend this is the NCAA or anything, but everyone has gloves. http://www.allstatsfootball.com Go to the video sections. I'm gonna go in as a Free Agent, and I know I can do some damage in this league. Not to toot my own horn, but I am REALLY fast and athletic. Plus, I've played indoor flag last winter and my hands get clammy and I always had to have a towel on my waist, so the gloves will help.
I was just messing with you dude... I was a quarterback for a Broward County champion and a runner up to the state champion in a flag football league. I actually put up these stats one season: 68% completions 32 TD's 5 INT's in 10 games.
Ive had a pair of Nike Vapors that are into their 2nd season and still work brilliantly. If you remember they are the ones Andre Johnson and Chris chambers were wearing in those commercials... [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=biQRY9hdI78"]YouTube- Dick's Sporting Goods Commercial Hands[/ame]
Thanks, I remember Nike having some extreme special editions for all the universities, like Miami, OSU, etc. Can't seem to find those anymore. PS. I don't get Dick's commercials because we don't have any of them in Canada - or very few if any. This thread confirms what I've read online, everyone has a preference and I've heard good things about many makes. I guess I'll just have to go with the Nintendo Power Gloves.
I use the Reebok breeze grip. Really grippy I've pulled more wtf 1 handers with those gloves than with any other.
