**** the Jets they are still the same ****ty organization they have always been. Im gonna go with the Pats. They have consistently brought a quality team on the field.
Ourselves. I believe the Dolphins can beat any team in the AFC East, we just have to do our jobs to make sure we win.
I voted Patriots, even though the Jets will be harder since we got rid of Ginn. On a serious note I'm not so sure the "upgrades" the Jets made didn't make them worse for the most part. I hope to god JT doesn't wreak havoc on us.
I don't care what moves the Jets make, until we sweep the Patriots, and don't sweep the Jets, they are the division rival to beat. It's also still a quarterback driving league. Tom Brady > Mark Sanchez
I said the Bills.Yep,I know it's funny but we play the other two tough and are always up for those games in recent years.Plus we are building to beat them also. The Bills did beat us last year and it's because they play lights out against us most of the time.We need to be ready for them,no falling asleep.
It's easily the Pats. They have Tom Brady and Randy Moss, which means they can win any game. Like when we had Marino. The Jets, aside from a great defense (which the Phins scored 27 and 30 points on last year) are nothing special. They even let their most productive offensive player walk (Jones), not to mention a key cog in their O-Line (Faneca).
You think the FO is building this team to specifically beat the Bills? Secondly, the fact that we may or may not play down to a weaker opponent doesn't make them the toughest team in our division. That would fall into the category of beating ourselves, AKA Ricky Williams halfback passes.
we will be the toughest opponent in the entire AFC in 2010. I guarantee you: no one will look forward to that second game w/Miami in the AFCE
I don't think, like any year, that any of the AFCE opponents will be easy. The Pats got my vote purely from the fact that they beat us twice last year. That said, just because we bested the jests and jills doesn't mean these games will be easier this coming year...
I'm not buying all the hype around the jets. They got an awesome D, but their QB sucks (its true) and they lost their top 2 RBs and their top run-blocker.
Miami is the DarkHorse in the race & that is exactly how I want to proceed they will have to physically play us on the field.we will contend in 2010 the Pod is @ its best w/blood in the water
everything is ultimately resolved on the playing field speculation & banter are meaningless in the trenches look for an awesome preseason conditioning program & training camps this season
Have to agree with several here: the Dolphins are the scariest as they could, and should, sweep every one of those teams, but generally find a way to beat themselves. Aside from that, NYJ is the most dangerous team to me, and I'm confident we can whip their arse. NE is in a decline. Buff's a wildcard; they DO manage to usually take 1 game from us.
The Jets. That fat *** loudmouth had them playing pretty well toward the end of the year. If he's really that good of a coach then I think they still have some talent.
This is a tough one because the play of a team imitates the personality of the coach. The JETS coach is obnoxious, straight forward and predictable. The PATS coach is cramped, sly and plotting. It'll be close but since both now have equal talent my vote is for the PATS because the team has a better strategist.
I know we lost but the Bills didnt even show up for the game IMO. To my eyes they looked ready to lay down and just get the game over with until...Henning calls, and Ricky throws the halfback pass. Crowder and Taylor get 15 yd roughing penalties on the same drive. Porter loses contain and Wilson loses his mind on the same play (I still havent figured out what Gerbil was doing on Fitzpatricks 999yd TD run). Even after that, we still dominated the game, until...Henning calls the screen to Lousaka Polite to kill a drive. Henning calls the reverse to Teddy to kill a drive. Garner holds on 4th and 1 to kill a drive. Instead of 17-3, or 17-7, or 21-7, the score is 7-7 at halftime. Buffalo won the game b/c we didnt put them away when we had the chance. Because Ricky ran out of steam and Hilliard stinks. Because Ryan Lindell punted us down to the 2 yd line and we couldnt move it out of there, which led to a FG for the Bills. Then Henne had a couple passes tipped that turned into INTs. Vontae buzzed into press man coverage and T.O. ran by him, Wilson was nowhere to be found as usual. It was one of those coulda woulda shoulda games that most teams go through over the course of a season, but it wasnt an "arse kicking" by an stretch of the imagination. In act, if the line for Miami @ Buffalo is anything less than Miami -7 (which it wont be) I'll be placing a pretty hefty wager on the road team.
I would normally pick the Patsies, but I think the Jets will be out for blood this year, and we have had epic battles through the ages.
That Pats are still the team to beat until somebody actually knocks them off the top. Even though the JEST are getting all the media talk, they haven't won nothing yet. The Bills, Chan G., look for a ton of screens this year and CJ Spiller will be a stud in that system.
^^^ Agree. The Jets look really good on paper. I bet thier ratings on Madden11 will be off the charts. They'll make alot of teams look silly this year, especially with thier defense, but they dont match up well with us because we are one of a couple (Baltimore?) teams more willing to play a physical game than they are. So I give a very slight edge to the Pats with Brady in his second year back, but if they dont find a pass rush Henne is going to murder them (again).
