Playoff time is coming close. Wild cards are in contention.

    Packers (6-5)
    Keyz-E
    Bears (6-5)
    Graythreat

This is looking like it is very important game for the final playoff spot in the NFC. The Saints are two games ahead of each team. The loser will have to rely on a lot of luck to get in the playoffs, while the winner will be feeling better about themselves

    Falcons (6-5)
    rvmartinez64
    Saints (8-3)
    MrBigKatt

Falcons can say "Not so fast" to the Saints as they are the third 6-5 team in the NFC looking for the wild card. Falcons are close to must win territory and the Saints would like to keep their lead on the spot. A Falcon victory can make the playoff race much more interesting

    Cowboys (5-6)
    finomenal
    Jaguars (11-0)
    Starry31

Losing to the Texans did not help the Cowboys chances. Now they are going against the pretty boys of the league. No team is prettier than the Jaguars who are close to not even needing to show up to make the playoffs. Still they like to party so they will show up and give the Cowboys a game they are going to have to fight for.

    Chiefs (7-4)
    parkers212
    Titans (9-2)
    SoldierOfLight90

The Chiefs need this victory and the Titans can use it. The Chiefs will have to battle boredom and rushing the ball as the slow methodical attack of the Titans are tough to stop. The Titans are in a comfortable spot for the wild card race, however a loss here will give put them in a spot for worry

    Browns (11-0)
    BigDogsHunt
    Panthers (10-1)
    FailHorn

This could be a superbowl preview. The Panthers are a tough team that just got tougher. Playing them a person could say, "At least their quarterback sucks." However now it is more, "I hope their quarterback doesn't try to get me drunk and rape me in the bathroom with touchdowns." Browns look to continue their undefeated streak. Will they do it?

    Giants (9-2)
    ashraf1992
    Eagles (4-7)
    mor911

    Giants

    Steelers (8-3)
    Enforce33
    Ravens (7-4)
    dolfandupree

Big game for the Ravens who at one point looked out of the playoffs at 2-4. With a 5 game winning streak they head to a rematch of a team they did not have a problem in beating. The Steelers are not to be taken lightly. Despite their moral being low they are a talented team with a good coach. They got a few games against players under their belts now.

    What happened to the Texans?

Fellas I just pulled a major boner. I had been playing with my son at Madden, well I was playing he was holding the other controller saying "I want to be Dan Marino. He's my favorite" (he's 2 but he's on the right track).

Anyway long story short my son went to bed so I decided to check on the league and I noticed that the week had been advanced so I started playing my game against SF.

My wife came downstairs from putting my son to bed and I wanted to watch t.v. so I absent-mindedly just flipped my game off so I'm going to have to restart.

Nothing dishonest or manipulative about it just wasn't thinking.

You ready for our game in two weeks? Are you playing the backups or coming at me full steam?

Also I just realized, prior to this weeks games (and probably after seeing as I just won 100-13) I have the most points scored in the NFL, and the fewest points allowed in the NFC (3rd in the NFL).

Double also just realized that I've clinched my division. The best anyone in my division could do is tie me (unlikely since I have 3 computer games left) and even then I hold the tiebreaker as I swept everyone in the division.

Woot! Exciting! My heart wants to see the underdog win, but my head wants the Cowboys to lose so their 3rd round draft pick (which I have) gets better.

I'll vote with my heart on this one.

    Go COWBOYS!

Sorry AFC South teams and BPK's heart.....I had the lead twice in this game but Starry's halftime adjustment to Jason Witten proved to be the difference. I will applaud my run defense who did a great job on MJD until I sold out on a blitz late in the game and he dashed 57 yards..

All in all as fun of a game as I have played...I made a DUMB decision early to go for it in my own territory because I felt like I NEEDED to gamble to win.:pity:

In the end it was a 4th and 5 pass to Barber that came up inches short with Dallas driving for the win in the final minute...

    Great game Starry and GL.

Whew, another close game for the Jaguars but once again a big fourth down stop and a big fourth down conversion keeps the 1 out of the loss column. Some pretty big plays in the game. Second play from scrimmage I had my fullback streaking to the end zone and on the 2 he goes down and fumbles into the end zone, which Dallas recovers. But wait! Upon further review he was down and after a 1 yard run by MJD I was up 7. Then I stopped Dallas on a 4th and inches to get the ball back, kicked a FG, stopped them again and had the ball. It's 10-0 first quarter and I'm feeling really good at this point. Some big pass plays leads to Dallas's first score and I did something I haven't done in a long time; a pick six. We head into halftime tied up at 17.

Second half he gets a field goal first to go up 20-17. I drive down and have a big third and long conversion, thanks to an amazing Garrard pass and Sims-Walker catch (his only one for the game). That keeps the drive alive and a 16 yard pass gets Shiancoe into the end zone for the touchdown, making it 24-20. So down 4 Dallas starts driving with a few minutes left in the game and continually convert on 3rd and 4th downs. 4th and 5 Romo tosses it out to Barber who gets stopped an inch from the first down. After three runs from Jacksonville and three timeouts from Dallas, it's 4th down and 5 from near the 50 with 31 seconds left. Jags decide to go for it and are able to convert on a big MJD run, making the final score 31 to 20.

Thanks Fin-Omenal and good luck to you as well. I knew this stretch of games was going be tough and it has been. Really tough game and it was fun since I won heh, that last drive man you just kept converting. I still face my division rival (and real life friend lol) two out of my last four games to possibly decide the division. Funny, one week my defenders catch every pass thrown to them and the next week they catch like Ted Ginn. Shiancoe finally shows up, thanks Barry. He gets a big touchdown and also had a block on my fourth down run.

Greg Jones fumble that was overturned after review.
Jenkins picks Garrard off for a touchdown.
    Shiancoe with the go-ahead touchdown.
MJD out of the Wild Jaguar formation gets the win.
Interception to stop any miracles Dallas had in mind.

    - Awesome. Sounds like a rollercoaster ride!!!!

    - I love Jenkins spiking the ball and it bouncing up into the Jax fans. Take THAT ya grapefruit farmers!

    - Yeah, Shiancoe's a decent little tight end. He's no Gates, but he'll get you a TD every other game if you use him.

    - MJD break's the safety's ANKLES with that cut back into the middle. Was the safety user controlled, Fin-O?

Looks like a great game, guys! thanks for the highlights.

Yes, Fin-O, it makes my heart :( ...

...but I get a higher draft pick! :)

Maybe I can borrow a FLip HD to tape my Superbowl run?

Actually, this raises a good point.... Starry, Sick, Big Dogs Hunt, Alex (top 4 guys)... do you all have a video-taking camera or phone that can record long movies somehow? I case we wanna have someone record the Superbowl they are playing in.

No, I didn't forget ya, Raffie. I just assume that since ya never even have a phone, what are the odds you have a camera??? lol. ;) (kidding)

    AND THEN THERE WAS ONE

Charlotte, NC - The Cleveland Browns (11-1) removed themselves from the ranks of the undefeated as the Carolina Panthers (11-1) had their way with Cleveland in all aspects of the game easily pulling off the victory 27-3. Somewhere the Miami Dolphins ('72-'73 squad) has brought in lots of ice and the Champagne bottles are chillin' as their collective eyes are now squarely on the Jacksonville Jaguars 2010 team.

The Panters offense consistenly worked with a short field based on Special team returns, Defensive created turnovers, or a rushing and passing Offensive attack that marched them unabated to the end zone, and at worst, within FG range all afternoon. Jack English was picked off 5 times, and the Browns running game was held to 23 total yards.

Cleveland tried various formations and adjustments but while they could move the ball at times, and their Defense created 3 turnovers picking off newly acquired Panthers QB, Ben Roethlisberger, they failed consistently to put together a drive that ever really showed them to be in the game. From opening kickoff to the final gun, this was a game that ended as it started with the better prepared team coming out the victor.

Cleveland has to quickly regroup as the Division Rivals Baltimore Ravens will be traveling to Cleveland for a key match-up in week 14's Monday Night game.

While my heart was rooting for AFC pride, my head wanted a Panthers win for a shot at the #1 overall seed (though I have two huge games I have to get through before I even start thinking about that) and to be the last undefeated team. What a match-up in week 13, we'll get two more big inter-conference games next week with Giants vs Titans, and Chiefs vs Seahawks.

Starry, if you stay u defeated that Panthers game is a Superbowl preview.

Now, the question is, will either of you show your real game to each other just to win a reg season game when you may meet again in the Superbowl?

Will you coach scared or let it all hang out there and go toe-to-toe in a slugfest.

Finally, can you and Sick test using your cameras on a ustream.com broadcast before the game so we can watch it???

    Chiefs Upset Titans

Today the Kansas City Chiefs did the unthinkable and walked into Nashville to beat the Tennessee Titans and end their two game losing streak. It was a hard fought win, but the Chiefs were able to win with an efficient offense that scored on almost every drive and saw Matt Cassel throw for 6 touchdowns. When asked about it after the game, Matt replied "I guess I was just feeling it today, but I credit my o-line for giving me the proper protection and my receivers for having a great day". And boy did those wide receivers have an outstanding day at the office. 8 different wide receivers caught passes today and 5 of them caught touchdown passes.

The defense started lights out against the Titans intercepting 3 passes and only allowing 7 points in the first half. However they wilted a bit in the 3rd giving up 14 points, and falling apart in the fourth giving up three touchdowns and making the game much closer than it should have been. When asked about his defenses' Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde performance team captain Derrick Johnson replied "We just played too loose and laxidasical out there. We thought we had the won early and we let up off the gas. We got lucky we didn't blow it and I promise that won't happen again.

The Chiefs look to head to seattle next week where they will face another strong passing attack.

    Chiefs Vs. Titans

"What a game this is!" ....or was....to quote the random crazy guy in the stands that we hear every game of madden!

It actually didn't look like much of a game as the chiefs pretty much dominated the whole time until the latter part of the 3rd quarter when the Titans started to see some light. Down 3 TD's in the 4th the Titans intercept a pass and run it all the way back for a TD, then onside kick it and recover. Titans score and make it a 1 possession game. However, its REALLY hard to beat a team that scores EVERY TIME it has the ball (minus that ONE interception of course.) In something like 2 plays the chiefs make it a 2 TD game again. Anyway, not too worried bout making this look like a professional write up or anything...so anyway... Titans scored once more with 1:08 to go but again the Titans D couldn't stop the amazing chiefs enough for a 3 and out and they ran out the clock. Final Score 49-42. It didn't look like it was going to be that close... but oh my... it was! Great game Parkers! As I told you b4, your team played like it was the #1 team in the nation! (yes SICK better than YOUR team so nya! lol) Even the Chief's man coverage was amazing... swatting balls...and the pass rush causing said man coverage to aquire INT's ...wonderful job out there guys... now go beat up some more AFC opponents! I think, I have officially become a Chiefs fan!(in this franchise lol) Go win out and getchu that playoff spot man!:knucks:

    Have a blessed day all!!!

Thank you Chiefs (and Chargers last week) for giving me some room in the division. Giants, you know what you need to do next week. Looks like Cassel shredded the Tennessee defense pretty good. Credit to the Titans for coming back from 35-7 though. With a third loss for the Titans it takes a little hype off the two Jax/Tenn games since the division may be out of reach at that point. The AFC Wildcard just got a lot more interesting though with the Steelers, Ravens, Titans, Chargers, and Chiefs all jockeying for position. The Chargers vs Chiefs game in week 16 especially will be interesting.

I believe that would be me. With Mor having a good amount of injuries and Miami being the CPU I like my chances (don't think I'm overlooking you though Mor lol), if I win those two then even if Bob sweeps me I still have a one game lead on the division. He was saying I could lose all four, which I could, but hopefully I win at least 2 more lol. Now if Mor beats me next week and Bob beats Ashraf, Bob still has a chance to sweep and take the division.
