It's on the "Total Access" show @ 7pm et.

I don't really give a hoot what these guys say, but it's sometimes fun and really, I'm just a fiend for any national Phin coverage. Just a heads up. Peace!

Thanks - want to see what these talking heads say. I hope they have to eat their words in a few months if they trash us.

    New England - A+
    New York - A
    Miami - C+
    Buffalo - F

    I'm sure that's how it'll go down.

If Deion is in on the discussion we may not even get that good of a grade.

I don't get NFL Network, but I was out eating some wings last night and I think I saw it on the TV.

If I remember the grades were
    Bills: C-
    Jets: B
    Dolphins B+ (Including Marshall)
    Pats: A-

It was Cinco De Mayo, and I was full of wings and alcohol, so, it might be a bit foggy...

They didn't have Closed Captioning on so I couldn't see what their analysis of us was, but they had some clips of Marshall up there, and it looked like a small clip of Dansby too. Guess they included that in our draft.

Very close. Nice recall for being drunk!

Bills: C (Love Spiller but need QB and OL)
    Dolphins: B+ (Counting Brandon Marshall)
Pats: A- (Solid, two 1's & two 2's next year)
Jets: B (Love Wilson, Not sure if Ducasse can start)

The grades were from Michael Lombardi.

Marshall Faulk said we are going to be much better. He said we got playmakers on both sides of the ball with Karlos Dansby and Brandon Marshall. Lombardi said Misi could be a major factor for us and talked about how we are very close even though we didn't make the playoffs. He pointed out how we almost beat the Colts and the Saints last year and Marshall agreed that now we have the playmakers we need to finish those kinds of games.

What cracks me up is how the Pats get the best grade because of what might happen next year. They talked about Koa Misi, Kyle Wilson, Vladimir Ducasse, Joe McNight, and C.J. Spiller but they didn't mention a single player from New England's draft.

    Let's evaluate New England's draft.

Round 1 - CB Devin McCourty. Good pick. Can return kicks and has potential to start. Probably doesn't have the hands to be a ballhawk.

Round 2 - TE Rob Gronkowski. Very good pick if he can stay healthy.

Round 2 - OLB Jermaine Cunningham. A solid if not spectacular player. More depth for the linebacker corps with the potential to start. A bit of a reach in the 2nd round but with Graham, Hughes, Misi, Kindle, and Worilds off the board the Pats probably panicked.

Round 2 - ILB Brandon Spikes. Great pick. Spikes and Mayo could make an impressive tandem. Hopefully Spikes' lack of speed becomes an issue in the NFL.

Round 3 - WR Taylor Price. I know ckparrothead really likes this guy. I have never been much of a fan. He could thrive in New England's system.

Round 4 - TE Aaron Hernandez. Another Gator?! Could be a steal but he lacks prototypical size and is not a good blocker. Hopefully he gets in trouble off the field.

Round 5 - P Zoltan Mesko. A punter in the 5th round? And they still get an A- ??? C'mon!

    Round 6 - C Ted Larsen. Meh!

Round 7 - OT Thomas Welch. Eh!

Round 7 - DE Brandon Deaderick. Whatever!

Round 7 - NT Kade Weston. Yet another attempt to find a replacement for Wilfork. Doesn't inspire confidence in last year's picks Ron Brace and Myron Pryor.

Round 7 - QB Zac Robinson. Has potential but the odds are against him.

Overall I would say the Patriots had a decent draft. They took a chance on two tight ends that could pay off big time. A lot of their picks are sleepers: Cunningham, Spikes, Price, and Robinson. With so many former Gators they are likely to be ranked #1 in the AP.

I thought everything they had to say about Miami was positive and pretty much what this board has been saying all along. Thanks for the video link Bpk...

When you have 2 dozen picks in the draft like NE had, you gotta hit on some of them. Kind of like throwing mud, if you throw enough, some has to stick on the wall.
