I know I'm a little late to the party this week, but I also wanted to chime and say I was somewhat surprised to see Rob voted off. But, you gotta give it up to Russell. Dude is a player. Also, I respectfully disagree that Colby's head is on the chopping block (on Heroes). I think they made the decision when they voted James off that Colby is their leader. Besides, Colby stepped up in the last challenge, and now seems to be putting his all into the game. Bottom line...they need him. After the merge, well...who knows? As for the spoiler tag issue, I agree with Raffy. I think if you're posting right after (or during the episode) you probably should use one. If it's 2-3 days later, well, I think that's a different ball game. JMHO...
Color me stupid but I've never used the spoiler tag. How do you use it, in case I may need to sometime.
Just type in whatever you want DD, then highlight what you just typed (left click and drag across the words with your mouse). Once the copy is highlighted, left click on the "spoiler" icon (second from right above), and viola! You've just hidden what it is you don't want anyone to see (unless they click one the word "show"). Make sense? Spoiler
I really am expecting for Russell to get blind sided. Sooner or later his flip flopping, or rather getting others to, will catch up with him. Assuming the Heroes win immunity again, I suspect Russell to hang for another week or 2 and they'll vote off the likes of Courtney/Sandra before it catches up to him. It's all based on a gut feeling tho.
I disagree. These bastards are too stupid to do it. The only one smart enough was Rob, and Russell recognized that, and he made sure that Rob went home because of it. Russell thrives on unrest. The more chaotic and disorganized things become, the stronger he gets.
If JT gives the Idol to Russell during a challenge that has to be the dumbest team move ever.....It would have to be a team decision I would think not just JT doing it
I think Russell's success is going to be his downfall at some point. The man won't likely be able to keep the ego in check. But he's certainly sitting pretty right now, especially with the heroes now thinking that the villain girls are the ones all in an alliance against the men. If JT gets Russell another immunity idol things will get pretty interesting.
That's what I keep thinking. He did show a flop side last night tho. Sandra cooked up a plan that might get rid of him eventually. When she told him that Coach was gunning for him, then,as expected, he was all over sending coach home and told everyone else so. Now the twist comes in with Daniel *****ing Russell to get rid of Courtney instead. Russell was defiant but eventually caved in and said, yeah, Courtney needs to go first. After the vote, you could have bought Russell for a plugged nickle. The other flopped on him and took out Coach anyway and now he has to know he's losing control over the votes now.
Yeah. That might bring him down to Earth. His earlier assessment that he could decide who went home proved to be incorrect. He should be able to logically conclude that Parvati didn't go along with him. A little tough after he stuck his neck out for her but he of all people should know how cutthroat things can get. I think Coach was practically harmless, Russell got played by Sandra in that episode. She's his biggest rival with Rob gone but he obviously hasn't figured that out.
I love watching and anticipating how this stuff unfolds. Each season brings different things along with it. It's the only reality show that I watch religiously maybe because the others aren't really reality that much, IMO.
I think you guys are wrong on Russell. He knew Coach was going home and perhaps bought his jury vote by voting for Courtney. You guys caught the "HTZ" symbol on his vote card right? He was letting Coach know that he voted for Courtney. That's my take anyway, we'll see if that was indeed the case next week when we hear from Russell. I'm rooting for him anyway. I know he's an arrogant bastard, but the way he found those idols last season with no clue, he deserved to win just because of that.
But the thing is that Danielle *****ed at Russell and got him to switch his vote from coach to Courtney, which is who he apparently voted for. However, the girls switched Russell up by voting coach out instead, against his [Russell] wishes. Next week will be fun to watch.
Last season he allegedly also mocked many the jury members that were being voted out making them far less likely to vote for him. That was stupid and arrogant and he deserved to lose just b/c of that. I don't get the impression he's learned much. But it's difficult to tell what's what with the editing so maybe it was an attempt to build bridges with the first jury member.
Regardless of how Russell voted (and, I think you're right Paul), I think Coach knew he was going. Did anyone notice how he stopped to shake Russell's hand before leaving? It was if he was acknowledging that there was nothing Russell could do to keep him in the game. I do think if the game ended today, Russell would have Coach's vote. Be interesting to see how long Russell can avoid getting blindsided, because I do think it'll happen. You simply can't trust that many women when you're the only man left.
I think JT was stupid for giving the idol to Russell. Russell agreed with Colby to vote off Parvati and now the heroes know Russell is a dick, for sure. It will be interesting to see the merge now. Will Russell still be able to play the heroes now?
He won't be able to play them. Ultimately his downfall will be failiing to get Sandra out of there as soon as he could. He had no idea that out of everybody she was probably itching to vote him off the most. We already saw in the preview that she starts working against him with the hero tribe. If Russell was as smart as he thinks he is he would have told Colby that Sandra was running the show and voted her off.
Russell is still going to be able to play the heroes. If he was as smart as me, he wouldn't vote out any more men for the time being. If he was me, he'd get rid of Candace and Amanda, then Sandra.
This...exactly. I can't believe he was dumb enough to share the fact that JT gave him an immunity idol with anyone. His arrogance and cockiness will be his down fall. And, I can't believe JT was dumb enough to give up an immunity idol to a player on an opposing team. I gave him more credit than that.
I was thinking he was pretty clever from some of the moves he made earlier in the season but my opinion of him dropped a bit when I saw him sitting there showing her his new immunity idol. She has been pulling his strings for several episodes now. He doesn't have a clue that she has her own idol.
That's what I thought as well. Although it was what I expected him to do. He's too full of himself to be able to resist telling somebody how he's outsmarting the heroes. I'm actually surprised he showed enough restraint to not tell everybody at the villain camp. I do think Parvati and/or Danielle will eventually do him in.
It's all about trust, Russell trusts Parvati and Danielle explicitly... so he proves it yet again by showing them the Heroes tribe gave him the idol. Will Parvati or Danielle ever tell him they have the other idol? And when they do, isn't Russell going to be upset that they didn't tell him straight away after all they've been thru? The first vote after the merge is going to be the key to the whole game. If Russell keeps his side intact, they should make it all the way to the final three.
That's what I was thinking when Parvati and Danielle were doing all that hee-heeing and giggling while Russell showed them the idol. They kept their's mum so they may have a plan hatching up for Russell. PLUS during the previwes the heroes said, "Is that Parvati?" Since Russell was to vote off Parvati in the idol deal, well, it should be interesting and right now, i wouldn't want to be in Russell's shoes. I think the "greatest player to ever play the game" is about to get played!!!
No posts since Thursday's episode? Reckon we're all too busy with the draft, huh? Well, it was another entertaining episode. Won't "spoil" it for anyone that hasn't seen it yet, but next week's episode should definitely be interesting. Let's just say the power is gonna shift. And, there's a certain player (that was on verge of being voted off just an episode or two ago) that is gonna basically dictate the fate of Russell and his alliance moving forward, IMO. Get your popcorn ready next week.
JT ****ed himself when he gave Russell the idol. i am starting the think this show is scripted. Russell giving Parvati JTs idol and she already had one and then she turns and gives it to jerri at the council. funny thing is, how did parvati know jerri was in trouble since jerri's name was not mentioned before council. The heroes screwed up by dissing sandra but there was no real way for them to know for sure. Now there only chance is for them to try and bring sandra back in.
Russell gave away his idol again? What an idiot. I didn't see the episode but I don't think Sandra has a choice but to align with the heroes.
Not getting her out of there when they had the chance was a huge blunder by the villains. And Russell believing anything she has to tell him makes him not nearly as clever as I gave him credit for being. I'm talking about when she got him and then everybody else on the 'vote out Coach' kick to save her own hide.
I can't say I'm her biggest fan. She's borderline worthless in the challenges. I don't know who I'd really like to see win but I know it's not her.
Exactly! Why...Ruppert, of course! In all seriousness, I don't really care. But, any of the heroes (with the possible exception of Amanduh) would be fine with me. Candice has overcome quite a lot just to still be in the game. So, I wouldn't mind seeing her win it all.
Well, I no sooner comment on Candice, and she goes and does what she did? NFW I want her to win now. She blew it big time IMO. Ruppert and Colby will be next to go. Looks like the villains alliance will roll all the way to the end, unless there is some sort of fracture within the threesome of Russell, Parvarti and Danielle, as the previews suggest.
Great great season so far. For me personally. It went from it going EXACTLY how I wanted it to go, and since Rob got voted out it's been the exact opposite. ****ing Tyson man.
So Russell decided the time was right to make a pretty bold move in last night's episode. I thought it was borderline wreckless initially but Rupert and Colby didn't seem to have any problems aligning with him to get themselves further into the game. Sandra is a huge wildcard right now, I wonder if she'll tell Parvati she has an immunity idol. Or if Rupert will feel comfortable enough to tell Russell he doesn't really have one.
Here's what I think will happen. By voting out Danielle, Russell burned his bridge with Parvati, so he's going to have to join Rupert and Colby (as indicated in the teaser). Jerry will come with him. So Russell has the advantage 4-2, and will try to vote out Sandra. Parvati and Sandra will be alone, but the kicker is that they have an idol. No matter what, either Sandra or Russell goes home next. Russell better hope his *** wins another immunity, which I think he's the odds-on heavy favorite to do. If he does, then it'll be Rupert going home, and Russell will STILL have the numbers to get Sandra out at the next tribal council.
