that kind of chemistry quickly falls apart with any loss.

I don't know if the chemistry will be an issue after a loss. Look how many people were working out this offseason? What was it like 50 or 40? That shows commitment to be the best. That also helps build chemistry between the players. Lets them get their crap together before the games and all that good stuff.

Well they got rid of Porter and Wilson who were not good for the chemistry. Dansby and Nolan will be. Marshall is so far. And wasnt every draft pick a team captain or something? Most of them anyway.

My expectations for 2010 have grown thinking about everything this offseason. Hearing that they've had more people working out then every other team[or most other teams]. The big moves. It all helps.

True chemistry takes time and repetition to develope. The more they play together and learn each others tendancies the better the chemistry they will build. The better the chemistry, the more confidence they develope and the more they believe in themselves.
The chemistry will start to be special when all of the pieces are in place but that is JMO.

They've brought in a bunch of guys who were all Captains for their respective squads.

That can go one of two ways. Too many cooks in the kitchen, or a regimented team that understands that one voice of leadership will get things done.

Judging by the morale character of the guys we've seen coming in, it seems like its going to be a good thing. But only time will tell
