Howard going old skool playoff basketball with the hard foul in the lane...no dunks allowed in the playoffs.

lmfao Vince Carter missed both FT! What do they pay Rashard Lewis to do exactly?

Wow potential down 2-0 to the C's ouch.

David Stern creamed his pants at a rematch of C's vs Lakers getting closer.

Orlando deserves to be swept. Two straight games at home they've looked like garbage. Great job by VC being clutch at the FT line. Also great coaching job by not having Redick shoot the last shot.

Why no blame on Redick for not calling a timeout as soon as he got the board or at least passed the half court before calling time? According to NBA.com, Redick pulled down that board with 6.9 seconds left to go.

Celtics over Lakers in 7 is my NBA Finals prediction.

These two conference finals series are over. LAL/PHX was over before it started, really... ORL is shockingly bad!

Not gonna lie, Celtics vs Lakers would be a series I would LOVE to watch. I'm young, so I never witnessed the past rivalry between LA and Boston. I'd like to have a little glimpse of it today.

I've said all yr that the Celts are a different team with KG. Its his presence. IMO Rondo has become a star with the help of a great cast around him. The Magic all seem to depend on Howard to take over. VC has looked terrible.

The Celtics are a better team than they were last time the two teams played. And they have a deeper bench, why wouldn't he? The only difference with the Lakers is an ineffective Artest that has shown signs of cracking already in the postseason.

What the **** Magic. Does anyone besides Redick want to win?

The Celtics are just lucky that Atlanta can't beat Orlando. The NBA really is a game of matchups. Hawks sweep Celtics, Magic sweep Hawks, Celtics beating Magic...

Well, just like people would never count out a team with a Peyton Manning, I've watched enough bball to never count out a team with a skillful, clutch player like Kobe. If the Magic/Heat can keep the games close with Boston and just fall short, I think the Lakers can also keep it close with Kobe being the X-factor to come through in the clutch.

Also, don't forget that Rondo would destroy Fisher in a potential PG matchup. Fisher, Farmar or whoever else they would decide to put on him (Kobe?) would have literally zero chance of containing him.

As for this series, Jackson alluded to it during the telecast last night, but if Howard is Orlando's best offensive player in this series, the Magic have no chance.

When you make the comparison from last years matchup to the current matchup, the loss of Turkoglu cannot be understated. He killed the Celtics, and to replace him with Vince Carter? Well, yeah... not so much.

    Ding ding ding!

People were killing Dwight after game 1... but he responded. Led both teams in scoring and had a fantastic night with his post game.

    Rashard? Loser...

And Turk is done. You see him in Toronto this year?

My point being, Turk killed the Celtics last year. Everyone wants to talk about Nelson and KG not being a part of the mix, but Carter hasn't come close to replicating what Turk provided them last year.

Well, the change wasnt just Carter for Turk. It was Nelson and Carter for Turk. The Magic had no point guard, so the Magic needed Turk to take those duties. They now have Nelson to run that offense, so that aspect of Turks game isnt as neccessary.

    Create some offense.

Only reliable wing player on the Magic right now is Reddick. Relying on Vince Carter will ultimately lead to disappointment, because the guy disappears so often.

But this series isn't so much about the Magic disappointing as its about the Celtics playing really damn well. This is one of the more dominating playoff runs I can remember watching. Rivers did a great job all season getting the veterans rest, and now its paying off.

I won;t say "I told you so" because the magic has alot of factors that were going to weigh them down.

    BUT.

I did call this Vince Carter thing......like death and taxes...VC will choke.

    Rashard Lewis ...wow...what a series.

and SVG was bound to have a bad moment.

BUT JJ redick lost his mind. Doesn;t he know the rules? This is only Game #92....

Rondo screwed me...BTW...so 6-2...but I have the two series bets on lock. (so far) so 8-2 looks good.

54 fouls called last night. Wow.

NBA record is 55, which was set in 1953, in a 4 OT GAME! And the total still went under last night!

The question for me is SVG. Do we keep him? I blame the coaching staff for the 1st game loss. He didn't have the team ready to play. Rashard Lewis is on the floor for what reason? Time for him to ride the pine and let Anderson in to see if he can match Redicks game. I don't see SVG making any adjustments. Boston is setting the tone of the game.

IMO, Nelson AND Carter are choking.

The same ones that keep getting rehashed. The same ones I have been harping on for a year.

I hated the VC trade as soon as it happened. he can;t be trusted. it hurt the magic down the road as well. Think of it...the Magic would be active in this 2010 summer FA bonanza. (Joe Johnson? Salmons? BOSH?) get the picture?

and I am not a big SVG fan.

If he calls another high Pick and Roll with Dwight and Nelson..somebody should tackle him. Who the **** is going to switch that P&R? what is the point? it hurts Nelson;s game and all it does is get you maybe 2 easy Howard ducks. So for 4 points...you call 26 P&R's?

The only thing that surprises me is how bad Rashard Lewis has been.

The Celtics are so veteran, they know how to get it done...they are kinda making it look easy....yeah they are giving up big leads, but they are pretty much ***** slapping everybody....and they would do the same to the Lakers too.....Kobe is Kobe no doubt, but that West is soft as hell, what are they gonna do when the Cletics start getting chippy with them....?? Celts rough house it....although still not sold they win this thing against the Magic...
