Every time a Dolphin player gives someone a warm fuzzy feeling, Bill Parcells throws up a little bit in his mouth...

If Henne really improves and becomes an elite QB, Pennington has to get some credit. Not all, but some. And if this team wins a Super Bowl in the next few years, again, he was a big part of it.

And then we can all rub it in the Jets faces for letting him come over to us! Like the AFC East Championship, only much better. I hope we get a ring with him on the team. Double edged sword, because if the Jets win a SB with JT on the team, we'll be hearing that for a while.

Pennington is like having another coach and will
be a great mentor for Henne. I don't know if people really understand how valuable he is to the team.

    he meant what he said
& he knows what he can do here
given the chance on & off the field
    I believe he was sincere

    :bighug:
options: leads us to the SuperBowl, becomes a QB Coach, then an Offensive Coordinator
most people tend to forget how great a QB he really is & he is the Ultimate Parcell's Guy

I'm very happy to have Pennington back with our team.

Henne hasn't been shy in praising how much Pennington has helped him the past 2 years.

I hope he considers becoming a Qback coach with the dolphins when his playing days are over.

  10. Chad P is a class act... he is an incredible mentor, "cheerleader" when on the sidelines, and has such a good, solid head on his shoulders about being a QB in the NFL. I love this guy, and I am just delighted that he will be back with the club this season, in whatever capacity makes the most sense to ALL parties involved.

The only problem with having Penny back is how tough a decision they have with the White/Thigpen issue. Thigpen has more going for him right now than White. White may have the bigger upside and is a 2nd round choice of this regime, so them keeping White seems more likely unless he shows even less than he did last season during the rest of this offseason and TC....(is that really possible though ??) I love what Penny has brought to this team. Both as a starter and as a positive locker room and practice/coach of younger players, particularly Henne. I'm just not as sure there's room for him IF White begins to develop into something. I'm hoping against hope that they do end up having a real tough decision to make between Thiggy and White. It'll mean that White woke up and realizes he's not in Kansas anymore. Unfortunately for Thiggy, he's not the 2nd round choice and any signs of life from White will spell his departure from here. It's ashamed, because right now, I'd be really scared going into 2010 with White as either my #2 or #3 QB...

Too bad JT couldn't have taken this attitude...

Glad to have CP back this year for his leadership.
