Man, I hate Cam. He threw Beck to the wolves lost three games in the process and now is going back to Cleo to try and at least get one win or possibly save his job. Im alright with sticking Cleo and trying to get the win. At the same time it says that the QB you drafted to supposebly be your Franchise Qb is not ready and might not even be a franchise QB. Dolfans we will have a million wholes come draft day and wih the first overall you might see Mcfadden since he is the Best Player in the Draft, but expect to maybe Brennan with the second.....

Nice. Now we have a shot at winning. Start Lemon the next two games and then bring Beck back in for the home finale with Cincy.

Beck wont see the field until we win a game, and we probably wont see him until next year.... Now my question is Cleo is gone after the season, Green is gonna retired and we all know that, and you left with an inexperience QB in Beck. What do you do?

Im alright with sticking Cleo to try and get a win, but why did yo lie and said Beck was ready when he wasn't. Im sorry but Cam messed up on Beck and that is another one of those questionable decision he has made from the many stupid ones this season

Threw Beck to the wolves? About 95% of Dolfans were clamoring for Beck to start, and villified Cameron for not starting him the week after the bye. Now he finally starts him and people are still giving him crap for that move. IMO, the man can't win (both literrally and figuratively).

Exactly, that and Lemon is better suited to handle our team right now.

This idea that we should start John Beck no matter what is bordering on the absurd, perhaps we should also start Alabi and be certain the Beck get's hit REALLY hard this game....

Yeah, let's make certain Beck can continue his 3 Turnovers a game average, that way he really will be ridden hard all offseason....

Dude...Beck needs to sit. I cant wait till he gets back in...but the weight of winning just one game is WAY to much to put on his shoulders at this point.

We need to win 1 game...to get off the snide.

Your paid Millions to be a coach and make the important decisions that give you the best chance to win, not listen to some of the wost fans in the NFL. If he tought Beck shouldn't have started he shouldn't have plug him in there. Now you ruin a young QB by throwing him to the Wolves and you lose 3 games in the process. Cam is so desperate that he knows he made a huge mistake ab dis trying to fix it with a win

i knew it, Lemon gives us the best chance of winning. If we had at least one win Beck would be starting but Cam is trying to save the franchise and his job.

Mentioned another Dolphins fansite in one private message. That person then forwarded to an Admin claiming I was advertising another site. Then I was handed a life ban. I don't want to really get into it again, because I don't want to be banned from this one also. I have accepted the ban and moved on. Nothing I can do about it.

Nublar, I am more of a lurker than a poster, but bro, the season that I was unable to watch games your highlights got me through.....thanks.

on topic, please keep in mind we did not score a TD with Beck as QB. Beck did not step up and do anything to keep the job....

That stinks. I thought Finheaven was considered the top Dolphin site, and therefore shouldn't be concerned about similar brands and whether they are briefly mentioned.

I remember when I started posting I came from a different Dolphin site and cnc asked me which one, using a specific guess. That was the wrong guess and I specified the correct one. So right there we had two mentions of different Dolphin forums.

On many sites I post on, like political forums, they gladly link to forums with a similar focus and point of view.

Banning doesn't thrill me, regardless of circumstance. I hope they reconsider.

I've been hearing that statement about the best chance of winning "13" games ago, and I'm still waiting for that "1" win!!

I don't care what QB is in there. We have little experience in our WR's and our TE's can't do squat. All the speed in the world doesn't matter when they still can't get open and our OL can't keep the QB upright long enough. The only gameplan on offense should be run run run. Predictable but necessary. I can understand bringing Beck in and I don't mind the experiment. He's already 26. If we give him the standard 2-3 years, he'll be reaching 30 by the time he gets going. He's older than Ben Roethlisberger for crying out loud.

Cleo gives us the best chance of "winning", which is like saying buying an extra lottery ticket gives us a better chance of hitting the jackpot.

Now that's an EXCELLENT analogy!! Quite honestly, I don't see any difference in putting in one or the other. There are so many problems on this team, the quarterback is just apart of it!!:thumbup:

i have no problems with beck at all, he got to start some games, got the experience and is just not ready yet, we have three games remaining, if we beat baltimore which i think we have a chance, then let him play the final game against cinncinnati

    Good decision Cam

I have said it before, but Cleo has NOT played terrible this season. Inconsistent? Yea, but he gives us the best shot to win, and that is all I want right about now.

I just hope Lemon does not go out there and mess everything up. This is our best shot at winning and maybe our only shot at winning. Beck clearly has been awful and it would get worse sunday against that great defense. Lemon should do well because I dont think both Rolle and McCalister arent playing. I just hope we win.

I don't see how that is really possible.

I believe that what we've seen from Lemon is what we'll get.

Is he the best chance to win?

Perhaps, but not for the reason some may believe. I honestly think the coaching staff is just afraid that Beck isn't as familiar with the playbook as Cleo and they are essentially handcuffing him somewhat. :(

Could Beck have made more plays by himself to prevent his benching? I absolutely think he could have, but at this point, what are you going to do?:confused2:

If the staff is going all out with Cleo, and not Beck, then despite his limitations he's the best shot at avoiding 0-16.

I take nothing about Beck's future from his first 3 starts, he's a rookie starting for an offense with a couple of talented rookie players, no real running threat and has a defense that can't be depended on at all to get him out of a bind. I can't see any of the game experience he could get being positive at this point as he clearly isn't ready to start under these circumstances. Throw him on New England and he's probably respectable but here the situation is too bad. Play Cleo as, barring injury it will probably be his last couple of chances to start in the NFL, and try to avoid becoming known as the worst team in NFL history, get a win and just be known as one of the worst teams in NFL history. Let Beck re-group and either go into next year as the starter or bring in someone to compete with him. I wanted to see him just as badly as some of you other guys did but the last 2 Dolphins games were about as bad as offensice performances I've ever seen (the Bills game at least with Beck in there). We couldn't execute routine plays even for 1 yard gains at times.

Is this news suprising to anyone? Not really. I dont blame Cam for trying to save his own *** right now. The least of his concerns is developing Beck at this point. If he can get a win Sunday (which I doubt) he can take a deep breath and then throw Beck back in there.

    Awe inspiringly poor....

Funny thing, pregame some Finheavan faithful were discussing the need to have cleats of the proper length, as slipping had been a problem, this game, it was the QB dropping the ball.....

I've never seen the football lost so easily in one game.

Your kidding right? Lemon the INT machine? The ONLY thing he does better is RUN out of the pocket..

Honestly Cam should have give the JOB back to BECK and lived with it. 0 Wins or 1 Win is not going to change the perception of Cam as a Head Coach.

Beck needs this game as it's the easiest game left on the schedule, and possible he learned something from being pulled. He looked pissed.

Might not hurt if they decided to do some screens and some quick over the middle routes to loosen up the D.

Like I heard before... What do you get with Lemon? Lemonade?
Excuse me sir but my lemoaid tastes like cat piss.

I would love to see Beck start at least the last game of the season. Open up the playbook and let the chips fall where they may. He has been hindered by many things from lack of talent around him, a offensive line that appears to be regressing, and a limited playbook. Put him in, open up the book, and sling it all day long against Cincy.

Right now, Lemon gives us a better shot of winning then Beck. Period. No real argument.

You are right, one win doesn't help save Cameron, but it can help save the franchise from reaching a historic goal. In 5 years, people will mostly forget a 1-15 season. The Cowboys 1-15 season and the Panthers 1-15 season are now afterthoughts. An 0-16 season lives forever. 2 or three more games is not going to make or break Beck. Though one win could save this franchise from historic embarrassment. Lemon gives us the best shot to avoide that.

Did anyone notice Sunday that as soon as Lemon came in the playbook was wide open? I saw plays that I hadnt seen all season, like real screen passes to the RB, the one option play he ran, long throws downfield.
Cam sometimes looks like he is playing with a high school play book especially with Beck in there.

I think it's possible that Beck, working with the scout team all season, doesn't know enough of the playbook to "open up" the entire offense.
