Nah I'm with you... I was being sarcastic because I've been called a hater for making the same such comments.
You know...I was pretty confident when I pressed my keyboard keys to send what was (on second thought) a little too much money in on this series. but you know what...I ****ING DESERVE IT!!!!!!!!!! [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdZdUVOKVuA&feature=related"]YouTube- I'm Rich Biatch[/ame] Now..when the Lakers take down the Suns..i get a sweet cherry on top of these playoffs with the all important exact series bet. Damn..I predicted these finals in October. Anybody need a loan?
okay..would love to shoot the **** with you fellas (will be back at the end of this butt raping.) But I have a very lonely Jack Daniels bottle down stairs. Gotta get back to my date.
I had thought he was like TMac or Josh Howard, they are traded and never heard from again..the lucky ones don't show up in the news for going bankrupt.
Been wondering the same. Sure he's inconsistent, but when he's on he sure is one hell of a spark plug. Aside from the ability to play multiple positions, I really don't see how Tony Allen is ahead of Nate in the rotation.
I already said I was taking the Celtics in the series vs. the Lakers. I should be 11-4 going into that bet.
How am I talking trash? Just pointing out a guaranee that folded... Since be was responding to me and kept bringing up MY old posts. Has nothing to do with you. At least I know what that championship champagne taste like... A taste you'll probably never live to know. Didn't want to make a statement like that, but since you want to be bitter and bring up the Heat for no reason, the smack talk is well deserved.
Boston/LAL will be a wonderful series provided the Lakers take care of business. Would like to see these "old" guys win another one to shut the critics up, but I'd also like to see Kobe continue to pile up he rings. Can't wait until next Thursday.
Yeah..you are only going to place one bet, straight Celtics to win..suurre..and I'm the Pope..do you like my hat? I'd expect a parlay of some of the winnings into prop bets. Ain't nothin wrong with that.
good to see the Celtics back. Celtics, Yankees, Candiens. Something comforting seeing the dynasty franchises just keep adding rings. Just need the Dolphins to rip off five super bowl wins in a row so that we can join that hallowed ground
You know when I knew that something was going on with this Celtics team? We get alot of "homerism" charges around here..but what was not Homerism, was the Miami Heat's defensive rankings. It could have been argued that the Heat had the best defensive team in the NBA. The Celtics broke down that defense time and again, got rid of the Heat in 5. They will beat the lakers. IMO of course. BTW, Kevin Garnett is SOOOOOOOOOOOO Unlikeable.
I love how every game Orlando lost is due to them playing bad ball and uninspired according to phinnhedd.
Dude..it has been in this thread. I will try to find a good landing spot for a "forum bet" in the finals.
Celts are a team full of shooters who can also take the ball into the paint to score, that makes them a nightmare to defend. But selling Super Cool as a legit PF based on his performance against the Celts was nonsense Sect, maybe he can be legit one day, but he has not been so far in Miami. that is mere hope. Hopefully Jackson mentions the Celtics are actresses.
Ugh... that loss hurts. Magic just couldnt buy a damn basket... John Berry talking about lacking effort and being ran off the 3 point line? I totally disagree. Guys got their looks. Magic never quit. They just couldnt buy a damn bucket.
Anyone notice VC was almost invisible tonight? Should have never have let Turk walk. Atleast he was on the stats. Its the way it should be IMO. Last yr KG was out and the Celts were banged up, and the Magic beat them. Good for them. But then they got swept by the Lakers, the same exact team the Celts beat the yr prior for the title. Now The Celts had a deeper bench and KG and co. looked phenominal. The Magic had a slim chance, it just isnt in the cards. Van Gundy is a good coach, but he's not a great coach. Howard is a great player, Nelson is a solid player....you get past them you have role players. KG= hall of fame. Ray Allen= hof. Paul Pierce= hof....Rondo.....playoff mvp...
I also dont think the Celtics played some fantastic defense or anything like is being discussed. The one defender I'm going to (shockingly) give credit to is Nate Robinson. The kid came in and frustrated Nelson... But the rest? Eh. They werent playing bad defense. But the Magic got good looks tonight. Just couldnt hit them.
On the Beas front..it won;t matter because he will be gone to facilitate some superstar getting some extra cash. He will put up gaudy numbers though. and yes..the Celtics interior defense is insane. Made Beasley's performance the best of all the PF's that faced them. Which is not a compliment to Beasley. it is a compliment to the Celtics since Beasley's performance was bad overall. GREAT thing that these Celtics won;t be around much longer as in, (this is the last hurrah) They are tough. Thank god for old age.
Really? I actually think Vince played solid tonight to be honest. At least, a hell of a lot better than he played the past 2 games. Those games he was invisible. Tonight he came to play... but it wasnt close to enough. As far as Turk... the move had to be made. Hedo is 31 and on the downside of his career. Locking him up on a big contract would not have been a good move. You see Turk this season? Ya, me neither. Apparently, he played in Toronto, but I must have missed it.
I had no idea Nate was a perfect match up for anyone, lol... I think Nelson was thrown off by having a defender that was actually smaller than he was, lol...
Dont compare Turk to Bosh. Turk was HORRIBLE this season. He was even a healthy scratch for some games. Has nothing to do with Toronto... the guy just couldnt play.
One can hear the old bones going into the cold tub right now. Problem the Lakers have is matchups, they don't have the pieces the Celtics have, who matches up on Ray Allen for example? Nate Robertson off of the bench is far more high energy than anyone on the Lakers. Can anyone imagine Derek Fisher keeping up with Rondo let alone Robertson? Gasol v Garnett? Or even Cornbread Maxwell? Toss in Rondo and the Lakers have problems, save for Kobe Bryant..a close game and he is good enough to take it over.
BTW, Danny Granger can go **** himself. On ESPN in a sit down with Scoop Jackson and J.A. Adande. "You don;t want to give too much credit to a guy like Kobe, because you have to play against him...the only two guys that you give that much respect to are Lebron and kobe." So I guess, Wade shoving his nuts down Grangers throat for 32, 25, and 32 in a 3 game sweep this year was not enough? Alot of people..ALOT of people are gonna owe an ENGRAVED apology.
and Bynum is still limping. That Fisher/Rondo matchup will be hilarious. I am just hoping I get a decent price (Lakers will be favored)
Oh, I know. When I said: ... I was being sarcastic. I saw him. He was just invisible b/c of how poorly he played this season. Honestly, the guy was garbage. He averaged 11 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists. That isnt close to worth the money he was paid. Toronto is referring to the Hedo signing as a massive mistake, and it was...
Our boy is gunna be an afterthought until he is able to start making noise in the playoffs. These 1 and dones put him in the shadows... Just have some patience. If everything goes to plan this offseason... people wont be able to forget about him...
