Without being nasty, he'd better have a bounce-back type of year or Uncle Bill will throw him out on his ears. Seriously, he really needs to prove himself again. He's got some ability, but whether it was injuries or whatever last year, he just didn't seem to be able to put it together. He really is better than what he showed last year, not that he'd conjure up any visions of great TEs, he's capable. Last year he didn't even show that...

I really thought I saw something in him his 1st year here in 08 but was disappointed last year. Maybe it was because he had Martin to help share the load with but hopefully he can bounce back this year.

The headline would inspire more confidence should it have read "Dolphins tight end Anthony Fasano is working toward a bounce-back year"

With Marshall being here, this will give him plenty of opportunity. He needs to take advantage of it if he is really serious about being here in the future.

Yeah it does look a little shaky. Like he is hopeful but not certain.

I don't think there was a tremendous difference between Fasano '08 and Fasano '09, it's just the circumstances. He's not a #1 TE from a receiving context, and having a guy like David Martin who could run the intermediate and deeper aspects of the Tight End route tree made it less glaring.

I don't think we're going to be hurting badly with Fasano as the #1, because he's an excellent blocker, red zone target, and after the catch, but if you wanna run a two-TE set as a base offense, you've got to upgrade.

Agree here. I think we're going to see a lot less of two tight end sets next year.
