Simply because Sheets wasn't a "Sparano Guy" OmarK.

Two players who are like a delicate operation, easy to make a mistake, but if it works, the upside is huge, they are the types who make a coaching staff's reputation if they live up to what they can do out on the field.

OmarK has some good observations in this one.

I have to admit, Omar Kelly has been improving the last couple of years.

I agree that Omar has improved over the last couple of years.

I'm not as concerned about the check downs. The NFL is a quick passing league. IMO these mini-camps are as much about getting timing down as anything.

I was against the drafting of White and I still don't see how he makes this team unless we trade Thigpen, but I like his attitude and I find myself rooting for him.

I hope Sheets develops. We need more play makers and he could be one of those guys that gives us a couple of big plays next year that makes the difference in a game.

I think that three of the starting LBs are set in the coaches mind (Dansby, Crowder and Anderson). I think Wake will get a ton of snaps regardless of whether he starts.

I think that the OL will most likely start Long, Grove, Incognito and Carey at LT, C, RG and RT. I don't buy that Berger is really competition to start at C. LG is the only position I have questions about. I could see that LG battle continuing all year. I am happy about the depth of the OL though. I expect it will be a strength again this year and better than last year's.

Omar Kelly and Armando Salguero are both average at best. And Salguero's self promotion gets on my nerves. Barry Jackson is the best down here, all day every day. Andy Cohen of Dolphin Digest is good, too. Ethan Skolnick and David Hyde are pretty good. Jeff Darlington, too. The guy who I miss down here is Jason Cole.

Cohen is my favorite. He has a true love for the Dolphins. He has a great way of criticizing whith a good mixture of positivity. He can look at a bad situation and call it bad but then pull the positives out of it. I can not read Saguero's stuff. I think he's worse than Omar. The others I'm not to familiar with, I'm sure I have read a ton of stuff by them but I really haven't paid attention to them.

Since this is mini-camp, I am not too concern about him not throwing deep down the field. I would say to get into the swing of things before doing that. I believe that is what Training Camp is for IMO.

No worries. I was just trying to get an idea of whatever your disagreements were.
