Rainey and dreary in NC today and happened to run across the Band of Brothers series from HBO..seems appropriate on Memorial Day.

I really enjoyed that series. When I finished my Iraq deployment in Jan. 2006, our relief was the recently reactivated Curahee brigade from the 101st Airborne [and that series]. I thought that was pretty neat for those guys to be a part of a unit with a lot of history. They told me a lot of WWII vets came out for their activation ceremony. Cool stuff.

I might check it out if the Braves game is rain delayed. The weather's pretty bad around here today too. I think this stuff is blanketing most of the southeast.

Bravos are kicking some Philly butt.

Put the ribs on the fire and the "Adult Beverages" in the fridge.

Sun peaked out..it's going to be a great afternoon.

I still believe the Band of Brothers series is the best thing ever put onto film.

I'm so pissed I didn't know it was on until too late. Me and the wife have been wanting to catch that series.

    Here and there
It's worth buying the DVD collection, I thinks its like $50.00 now. I paid $89.00 and it was worth every penny.
