I must thank the refs for not favoring the Lakers for once.

Hopefully Boston wins on Sunday. Also how injured is Bynum yikes if he can't go Sunday LA is in trouble.

Everytime someone in the media says that Boston is showing their age... they go on to kick some *** the next game.

Well to be fair the oldies didn't do much. It was the bench guys that made the difference.

Well, tbh I think the Celts did show their age, that is why their shooting has been horrible, the Starters are worn down, their Bench is very deep and that carried them.

when Sheed, Allen, Garnett are clanking shots consistently chances are good they are just tired, Nate R, Baby Davis, Rondo are still fresh and it showed.

Lakers should be very afraid... Ray Allen had two horrible games in a row and they split them. You know what that means... likewise, he's coming out on fire in Game 5.

BTW, you guys notice that Sheed got a hair cut and is clean shaven for the first time in about 15 years?

Hard to tell Sect, the Bench scoring 21 pts in the 4th qtr is hard to duplicate, but then again Doc R has little choice but to give them more minutes as 40% shooting will not win a game typically.

If Ray Allen neutralizes Kobe's scoring (meaning if he is competitive or within 10 points) the Lakers are in trouble.

Winner of game 5 wins the series. IMO.

You also have Pierce finding his game with Pick and Rolls..and Ray Allen in a slump. KG is worthless. Bynum is gimpy...Kobe forgot how to drive to the basket. Weird series.

I had a SOLID opinion on THIS game....I have NO IDEA what is going to happen in game 5. NONE.

Well, prop bets would be the only action you will see then?

I'm waiting for a Rondo/Robinson/R Allen line up on the floor imho that is the next logical move, three shooters and Sheed tweaked his back and has been shooting poorly anyway.

    Maybe.

My friend tried to get me to bet Kobe OVER 29.5 points tonight..he SENT IT IN big on that one....I was iffy and passed.

Maybe I ride Pierce's NEW found game on the OVER 20 points on Sunday? maybe.

Well, imho Bynum plays in game #5, and he has been effective at wiping the boards meaning less second chance shots.

Honestly Heat fan should be the last one complaining of foul calls the way they won their ring on the free throw line.

    SO...how did your overreacting go?

We also won our championship on the boards and by defending Dirk...but who cares about that? Just repeat the same canard till you are blue in the face.

Well no matter Celts or Lakers, Game #5 is pretty much the series, Phil Jackson has a great track record in Game #5's, but in 08 the Celts managed to win.

SOrry...but I just like Paul Pierce.

You gotta love guys that play so good and look so un-athletic. He looks slow..and plotting and has the same 2 moves. But is effective.

    Game 5
25 Free Throws for Wade vs. 25 for the entire Dallas team. That having the refs in your pocket.

Here is how it breaks down.

The Refs swallow their whistles....The Celtics win.

The refs call it square...the Lakers win.

SO..the Celtics really need for the Refs to allow them to play physical.

and of course...the foul at the end of that game was not a foul. (that is usually what you follow up with)

    Yep..there is no foul there.

I disagree with that Sect, the real key is whether or not the Celts starters remain cold from the floor, PP, Allen, Garnett have been ice cold, no amount of whistle blowing or swallowing makes up for "clang!!!".

#5 is basically for the marbles, do the Celts Vets step up, or do they step out?

Maybe you should go back and rewatch the games because I never seen so many ticky tack calls called in the playoffs. The Celtics are not my team I just dislike the special treatment Kobe gets I should say special treatment Gasol gets.

Listen the Refs have to favor a team each game they can't call it 50/50 so when I sit down and expect to see a game where their going to let both teams play but instead the game stops every 30 seconds on ticky tack calls it really ruins it. I understand Boston gets away with stuff but before this game the Lakers were getting the calls.

I don't think Boston wins if the bench shows up. Getting the officials really does benefit a team and it shows.

Is it too much to ask to get a fair game called? If I were a Lakers fan I'd be super pissed because it was obvious from the get go the C's were getting the calls.

Sorry I can't be like you and turn a blind eye on the Zebras.

wow the refs were pretty bad at the end and how was that not an offensive charge? Kobe had postition. And they were only down by 6

Got to give Big Baby credit and also Nate. That nice 11-0 was the difference.
    Also Rondo steal was huge.

Bynums injury hurt the lakers down low. Not sure why they dont use Mbenga or Powell on Davis.

To be honest i think those T's were wll deserved. Atleast Sheeds. Not beacuse im a Laker fan but Sheeds been doing that over-reacting move the last 2 games. His eyes get huge and starts running all over the court. He even did it earlier. Same with Perkins.

Nate didnt have to literally rub his head on Odoms chest and talk smack. Im sure the Refs heard something
