The funny thing is when you sellout, it doesnt end with the signing of the contract....he is and will be saying things he truley doesnt believe.... for instance......last year during practices, in the locker room before and after the game, how many times you think that defensive unit put down Hot Dog over the course of a year....now thats his boy hahahahahahahahah!!! Sellouts will always be sellouts, to be shunned by the Ring of Honor!!
Leaf was before Manning hahahaha I get your point bro!!! this argument wont be settled for multiple years..
Or until one of them comes out and leaves football for modeling/acting/interior-decorating/interior-design...
I read the quotes, JT was basically handcuffed here. There's no way he can say Henne is better, even if thinks so. That's pretty much what he's implying. The New York media would kill him if he said otherwise.
JT picked Sanchez over Henne the day he decided to take a little more money and play for the Jets. He picked Jets fans over Dolphin fans. He picked Ryan over Sparano. So on..
And if he were still in Miami he'd say Henne was better. Move along folks, nothing to see here....other than JT kissing Jet Nation's *** so they'll be behind him when he takes the field. Zzzzzzzzz...
No where in this article does JT say Sanchez is a better QB then Henne. He simply said Sanchez is his guy. That's what he has to say. They're on the same team. Don't try to make this out to be something it's not.
You guys are mad at the wrong guy here. As much as I appreciate Tim's contributions to this site and answering our questions, he's way hung up on this Henne vs. Sanchez thing. Searching desperately for people who agree with him. Taylor never said anything bad about Henne. He's only saying good things about his current QB. Do any of you really expect him to do differently? Think about what it would mean for him in that locker room if he said, "Sanchez stinks. Henne is much better." Tim Graham really needs to get over this Henne vs. Sanchez thing and let it just play out on the field.
He didn't even say anything bad about Henne. You guys get way too hung up on stuff like this. Reactions to JT, Saban etc., are worse than scamps in a little sewing circle.
True. I have no idea why they'd ask questions like that anyway. Do they not think that as NFL fans we really know what the deal is? As if JT would say anything bad about Sanchez. It might be time to just put away the microphones and stay silent until TC starts.
Does anybody here really care what JT says or feels about Henne and Sanchez? Sanchez can be a workout warrior and can sleep with his playbook but that doesn't mean he will be a better QB than Henne. I can still remember all of the hype that Trent Edwards got in Buffalo after his first year but where has that gone?
This is it in a nut shell. All JT did was pick his current QB. I'm a big fan of Tim's but this blog was pretty weak if you ask me. I mean asking a team mate "who do you think is the better QB, your QB or the QB on your arch rival?". I mean come on, he may as well of asked Mark Sanchez's mother who she thought was better.
Left out important parts of the article. Makes it pretty clear that he's not really picking one over the other.
If he didn't say that then i would be suprised, if he was here then he'd pick Henne. Boy how the man has fallen in such a short time...!
I posted that in his comments section when the story first came out. Feel free to post it in the ask Tim Graham though as I would love to know his answer. What I thought would make a very interesting story would be to ask another Rival QB "Tom Brady" who he thinks is better. I mean come on that would be pure drama!
Well for a Rookie Dirty S had his ups and downs but there were times when he flashed brilliance and his long throws were pretty dead on. I was never on the Henne penny wagon when he was drafted but he's my guy now and I don't want anyone to get it twisted... just saying
Its all a game, Ive said it from the start. He's just trying to feel wanted in NYC as a jet so this is the game he has to play. Pathetic honestly.
It was a trap question. What else is he going to say ? JT will end up in the HOF and our ROH as a Dolphin when he retires .The bitterness is misplaced IMO.Csonka changed teams too and he is still highly revered. Having said that I hope he has a horrible year.
