Look, I didnt even have to read this whole thing. Bottomline is that they did have a pretty good season. They made it all the way to the AFC Championship with a rookie QB and Rookie Coach with a and with a Rookie RB during the playoffs. You can throw whatever wrenches in the mix that you want. The bottomline is that the Jets overacheived and the Fins drowned. So on that note, I can come around here all I want and state the facts. You guys swepted us, but we had the MUCH better season. Deal with it. And if you want to talk about lay down games, then atleast win games when they count! THATS when you can talk SHYTE.
how many threads you gonna hit up tonight with the video of the Fins beating the Jets? Pretty rich... Thanks again
He dropped 19 in 08 and 10 or more in 07. He defenitely has bad hands. Yes, he caught a nice percentage last season, and yes he dropped less than those names. But he was thrown at WAY less. I'm willing to bet if he was thrown at 100+ times, his drops would go up.
As many as I can to be honest. I may just sig it as well. I want you guys to revel in it....because its coming to an end and its going to be a hard pill to swallow bro.
Ok my mistake as my list only contained the receivers you mentioned and Dolphins and Jets for some perspective. here is a complete list that included all receivers who caught 34 or more passes. Gin haters can marvel at who's on the very bottom of the list. Note though that Edwards is pretty far down this list. I read. Make sure you highlight the drowned part as well. P.S. Id rather overacheive anyday than to underacheive, because overacheiving is only in the eyes of the the people who doubted you in the first place. And thats why you highlighted it.
49ers and Tedd Ginn. NUFF SAID. Who needs an Oline when you got Ginn? He can beat the Jets by himself.
So using your logic here, all 4 of Miami's Wr's are tops in the league and ranked higher than both Jetsons starters.... thanks for clearing it up
You had wonder boy, wonder coach, #1 defense, #1 rushing attack, blah blah blah last year and Miami beat them anyway....twice. What will the Jets excuse be if we beat them again next season? The Jets could win, I don't discount that. All I'm saying is that as a Jets fan your writing a pretty big check for your team to cash next season.
OMG! He's at the bottom of the list! Catching 90% of his passes got him on a VERY LONG LIST of WR's lol. You kill me Landshark. lol. P.S. Look who's ALL THE WAY AT THE BOTTOM. lol. Wasnt that guy supposed to be the shyte one day? He will though, for the 9ers.
http://www.nfl.com/videos/new-york-jets/09000d5d818cefeb/Top-10-games-of-2009 Thats exactly what I want to hear from you guys. Oh man Im going to love this forum when the season starts!
Not exactly. For one, Theres more to a WR than just the reception to drop ratio. Stupid comments like yours would make it seem like Camarillo is the best WR in the league. We obviously know better than that.
Writing a pretty big check during OTA's is a key component in SOJ syndrome. PS. No Offense VTF but SOJ syndrome is something i look foward to each and every season =)
I gotta tell you Cam is a very good receiver bro. He has little trouble getting open and when thrown at he catches everything.
Yes we will, and if we happen not to it certainly wont be because the fins are there. lol. Like I said, I'll have a special place for you.
He has clearly looked way past Miami though. His claims make it even clearer that his Jetsons are going to win the SB. Best Wr's in the league Best Oline in the League Best running game in the league Best Defense in the league What more is there? ST's? I'm almost certain that since I just mentioned it, he will claim to have the best ST's coach and the most elite ST's to have ever played. Suprised we did not see a claim of best Head Coach at eating
Jets are a paper tiger. Losing TJ hurts.. ouch. I see you throwing the ball a lot. No depth. we have better running backs. along for the ride tonight
See what I mean? And you dont wear puke green glasses? Now ya got me cracking up even more at the " I give credit where it is due" comment. Knock knock~~ you never once saw, or will see, one of my posts making a claim my team is Super Bowl bound and especially when OTA's are just finishing up.
I didnt say that he sucked. I said that by the logic of the dude who likes shoe phones if we purely went off of reception to drop ratio it would be just preposterous to state that Camarillo is the best WR in football. If that was the case then put Clowney in the top 5 because he only had 1 drop all season. Its ******ed to say and im thinking about not even responding to this guy with a shoe for a phone. Obviously he's wrong from the start.
Go ahead man plow that mule into the ground. I suspect if your team tanks a couple early on especially if one of them is to Miami you'll suddenly forget this forum exists. I think the Jets fans spend too much time basking in the shine from their ring last season.... ... oh wait. I hope they print up the shirts soon so all of those 3rd world countries can get new clothes.
Well bottom line is Edwards is still a pretty darned good receiver but the claims made in the article are laughable though (Other Thread). and "Edwards is one of the last Jets' player that I'm worried about having an off year" "His [Edwards] drops are overrated" "There is NO chance that Mark Sanchez will be worse than last year." I already responded to these so not going to do it again. Bleacher report is a horrible place for quality sporting news.
LMFAO!!!!!!!!! You sure like to twist and turn things around to make or help your claims of greatness. Who was the one who claims to have the best Wr's in the league? Not me!! Who is the one that used the scale given to him to show that his guy had a 90 percent catch rate and jumped him to ELITE status by his own math? Not me? We also know that Edwards is by far, not the best Wr in the league or even in the top half. And you call my comments stupid?
You're probably right. But if they do what I expect them to do YOU'RE not going to like coming to this forum very much I can tell you that. lol.
You would not see my shoe phone if your damn coach would stop calling me for more advise. I guess I should put up a picture of a mean looking Dolphin like Dansby? That way I'll look tough and scare people........
Of course it is, I learned my lesson with the bleacher report, not to take it literal. All im saying is that all the "Dropsies" and Braylon cant catch can be put to bed. I've admitted that he dropped 2 TD's that i can recall last year. Thats the truth, but I ALSO remember this dude coming right back from those drops and making up for it with scores. Dude is MUCH better than fin fans outside of yourself Landshark give him credit for.
No, the shoe phone is stupid, your comments are ridiculous. There's not a team in this league who can say that they have both a better receiving corp AND a oline. Im putting it down that Sanchez has atleast 3500 yds and 16 TDs.
NO THEY CAN'T! I told you 3 times already, he dropped 19 last season, which was 1st in the NFL, and was second in the league 2 seasons ago. Drops are a major concern for Braylon Edwards.
I think you two got off on the wrong foot. I know from posting with both of you guys that your passionate and loyal fans who love their respective teams. Both of ya need to take a step back and take a deep breath and continue down a better path. I say this because I respect you both.
