Great game so far, should be 2-2, but of course FIFA's ineptitude has again meant that a wrong decision has been made.

How many times do players, teams and fans have to robbed before video evidence is brought in.

Sepp Blatter is a ****ing moron.

They actually benefited from a similar type of situation in 1966. But this one was far more evident than that one.

I dont see why FIFA did not introduce Platini's idea of having two ref's behind the goal for such a situation.

It worked well in the Europa League and would not interfere with the running of the game.

    But thats Blatter for ye.

Tbh 3 goals is 2 more than i expected for the whole game. Neither side is capable of defending and will get slaughtered v Argentina.

    England is getting hosed....

Is it me...or is it just England and the US that has had true goals taken away from them?

I think the Germans are slightly young to win it all. We'll see. I think in the next World Cup, they will be the favorites. They will be very strong IMO.

The German national team's future is so bright.

Muller, Ozil, Khedira, Bradstuber, Boateng are all 23 or under!!!

    Agree, it's wild.

Ghana is very young too. 9 players are under 24.

Not a big fan of the German keeper Neuer.

    Think they miss Robert Enke.

    They miss Kahn, lol.

Neuer's not great but not bad IMO. I think he struggles with positioning and anticipation though.

    Unleash the hooligans.

Every eng shot they get a hand on and make an amazing save been that way all tourney. And we let poor goals in with no lucky bounces. Hope this lights a fire under someones ***

Agreed. Another squad I like is Nigeria's young guys. The U-20 or U-17, I can't remember, but they have a nice squad. Watched them a couple times. Nice pace and power.

Seriously, what's with all the bad words against Englad? If that second goal was allowed, as it should've been, this entire game would be different. Germany capitalized on two counters because they were pressing to tie. England this, England that, they tied the game at two in the same half that they conceded!

This result is dependent on incompetence with Germany being the benefactor. They played well, but not what a 4-1 scoreline suggests. Who knows how the game would've unfolded with the second half whistle blowing with a 2-2 game.

Organization and discipline always seems to be a problem for Nigeria though. You could even see it in this WC when Kaita got sent off in the 1st half against Greece for kicking out at a player, when they were dominating that game and 1-0 up.
