Totally agree, its a completely different game if that goal is allowed. As you said, England would not have been committing so many players in attack if they were level.

I would really like to see Mexico play a good game. I like this year's team. Dont think they'll win but I would like to see them stay competitive throughout the game

They probably would have conceded again anyway as they were awful at the back.

I suppose. But i think they are happy to be done. They didnt play well in the group. Their energy level was crap. Brief moment of greatness today but it took going down two to get there. I will root for Argentina v Ger if it happens

Mcmanaman just said it best. Ger made us look slow and tired. They need a complete change in their system. If they cant defend they need to change to a more offensive system. Go to a 4231 like Holland.

This...I dont think its anything wrong about saying bad words against England...they puke on themselves....they were slow, the back was awful, and besides Lampard, Defoe, Milner, and Gerr...they just seemed like they didnt want to be there.....

forget that non-goal, Germany made it a non-issue....England won at possessing the ball more...awesome, so did Miami against Indy last year...big deal

Gareth Berry should be ashamed of himself looking at the last two goals particularly when he lost the ball in their area. Couldnt Carrick play holding midfielder?

John Terry directly responsible for first goal. He was mostly crap all four games. Too tight too stressed u could see it on his face. I hope there is a change in this teams nucleus over the next year as the euro qualifying gets underway.

Conspiracy theory coming up: One of the pundits over here stated that to make up for Lampard's non-goal, FIFA would award England either the 2018 or 2022 World Cups.

Take it for what its worth though.

Crazily enough, eight years after the 1966 World Cup final, West Germany held the World Cup, who also felt aggrieved over Englands controversial goal in the 1966 final.

Once again - the idiocy of soccer officionados will not allow this goal. Same with the leaders of the Olympics in many respects.

England totally ripped off. For the big nations to let this go - it's a travesty. Can FIFA and Blatter completely. Nations need to start their own organization and not let some of the nations that are in there dominate the thinking. Sep Blatter is a travesty of a sportsman.

Since when does Argentina wear their Blue shorts with their traditional jersey?

First time ever...they are wearing the wrong shorts! WTF? this has happened twice in this world cup, where teams are mix and matching their traditional uniforms.

Mexico is a brave side. They lose respect for their opponent much too often...

They will do that again..and Argentina will get a cheap counter goal. That will be the difference.

    Maradona is a moron....

    But if he weren't....

he would play to absorb Mexican Pressure and then make them pay. I would add a Back..and invite Mexico to get comfortable.

While Mexico still has respect..the match will be even.

    THIS IS A MATCH!

As much as things change...they always stay the same.

    Brazil is the best team.

The Germans are the smartest, best technical team.

    England Bombs out.

The US falls short of expectations.

Mexico has spirit but seems to be lacking something.

Argentina looks like a million bucks, but probably won;t win.

Spain is the best team on paper.

The Netherlands is everybody's sleeper to win it all.

Portugal is the most capable of looking the best and worst from one match to the next.

    One European powerhouse disgraces itself.

An African nation makes a little noise.

not sure if this answers it but in soccer you need to have different color shirts, shorts and socks than your opponents do

These scumbags (refs) are going to ruin another match.

turn off the TV. You are wasting your time watching the rest of this.

This match is no longer legitimate.

remember WHO is saying this.....I HATE mexico. They got robbed. 4 years for this bull****?
