Just perusing and saw this. Mr. Robert Hoffman gets the enviable one-on-one with Chad Henne during Henne's "All-Star Weekend Youth Football Clinic" in West Lawn, PA. Enjoy the read. Link: HERE
I know, right? I almost cringed when I was posting the link, but I try not to relay anything useless. It's actually a decent read. I think this Hoffman guy is pretty solid from the few articles I have read from him.
Nice read there. Hopefully he's able to put together a great season for us, and be the guy at QB that we need him to be. He appears to be well on his way, on and off the field.
I love Chad, but he's classic "say the right things" kinda guy. Nothing wrong with that, some of the best ever are the same way(Jordan, Tiger, Peyton, etc).
I don't know that I've seen him make too many bad decisions. Certainly a few, and some great QB's make many (read: Favre), but the fact that he says he is working on making BETTER decisions and MORE accurate.. I think I have a bromance brooding. I think this is one of the reasons that BP and Co. drafted Henne. Obviously they like him individually or that high of a pick would not have been used on him, but the consistency here between LT and QB can and must NOT be under-stated. 7 years together, and they're how old? We're getting a super bowl ring at some point, ladies and gentlemen.
British Petroleum drafted Henne? I'm assuming they also draft Pat White. It would make a lot more sense that way.
Something to keep an eye on Ricky Wiliams says pat white is now "a quarterback". I realize he's only ricky williams, and depending on your views of him leaving the team to go hippy and smoke pot in a tent he's a bit more "in" on how the roster is developing than we are because he actually plays on the team. IMO
He can be a Quarterback all he wants. There are two people ahead of him on the Depth Chart. He gets gadget plays. I just want him to be a contributor. Lex Hilliard is a running back but he only plays when guys are injured.
I'm sure the interview went something like this... [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jNBIyGxV7Ek"]YouTube- Chris Farley interviews Paul McCartney[/ame]
Some of you graybeards might remember Rob from the old site. He used to do stuff for us back then. Good get for him!
I remember that guy..... first I've seen or heard from him in a while. Seems like he's been working his way up, good for him
