Nice, how cool is that the CFL receives exposure, NFLN surely acquired the broadcast rights inexpensively, and now a Stream may not be a problem at all.

Three down football makes for a very very fast game to watch.

The CFL is fantastic and hopefully will attract more fans with this exposure! I've been to more than my fair share of Phins games (season tix), and I have to say, a regular season Toronto v Montreal game was one of, if not the, most fun football game I've been to. Cheap tickets (there are no bad seats), and sitting in the Molson section there are beautiful women handing out free beer. What's not to like??

Nice, NFLN is moving tomorrow evening's Inside the NFL up an hour to allow Montreal v Sask to be shown from the opening kick off.

    No BC Lions games though..

I suggest everyone to at least give the CFL a chance. While its obviously not the NFL, it pretty good (albeit different) football.
It`s exciting, fast-paced and usually high scoring.
Give it a shot. Odds are you will like it, and at the very least it will bridge the gap until the NFL kicks off.
And then you can all join me and padre in the CFL thread.

If I'm home it looks like I'll be watching my first ever CFL game tonight... let's see if I can get into it.

The Coach of the Alouettes, Mark Trestman will be an NFL Head Coach.

Two things that are really different:

-Dlineman line up 1 yd off the ball

-Some Wr can move towards the line of scrimmage prior to the snap.

A missed FG is worth 1pt to the Defense (?)..

Even ATDHE has a link up for the game for those who do not have NFLN.

Well, I'm a CFL fan, even bought the hat, however I do "like' what the UFL COULD be, a feeder league for the NFL where the players we watch in the NCAA or on one's favorite team in the preseason can go to see some playing time.

But head to head, the CFL is much more...dignified? Winning the UFL "championship" is a bit of a yawner, winning the Grey Cup, a title that has existed for almost 100 yrs, is a much bigger deal imho.

I'd love to see Doug Flutie announce CFL games for NFLN, he was doing UFL games last season and it just didn't fit imho.

A single point is awarded to offense on a missed field goal or punt provided the ball goes through the endzone or the ball is downed in the endzone.
