We did play last night but then in the middle of the 2nd there was a connection issue.. We're trying again tonight

What was the score in the 2nd when the connection issue arose? Sounds like someone was getting an *** whooping and decided to unplug their modem.

 

If that had happened the winning team would be able to finish against the CPU. It's not uncommon for the connection to just flip out for no reason.

 

I was up 21-7 but we both got the same message" attention connection to peer has been lost" .. So we both agreed to try again tonight at 12 am.. If we have another problem I don't mind simming it... I don't want to make you guys wait..

 

Also guys I'm going to be out of town from July 12-25. I don't expect you to put the week on hold for two weeks for me, so I propose this. Week 3 I play Dupree and Week 4 I play Barry. I would like to play both of those games. Week 5 and 7 I play the cpu and have a bye Week 6. If we can get through Week 4 before I leave then I'll exit the franchise and my games can be simmed while I'm gone. But I really want to play Brett and Barry

No. I don't play like that. Although with my team fumbling 3 times, it very well could have been an *** whooping quick. But when the attention note came up, game was still good. We are finishing the game tonight for sure.

 

Not necessarily, it happens. I've been in games where I've been kicked, others been kicked, etc. Nappy and I had to play 3-4 times last week because we kept getting dropped. Happens.

 

I don't like the sounds of that.

The Jaguars did have the best defense last season, while adding 8 new defensive players this season which includes Asante Samuel and changed their scheme. So my defense looks forward to trying to stop Mr. Schaub and crew. Shame we have to wait to week 12/15 to get it on and that Bob won't be there to mix it up too, maybe Boogie can make things interesting. I got respect for the Texans but just have to remember,

Hey Guys,

I hate to say it, but I'm going to bow out of the league. I REALLY enjoyed it, loved the rivalries, etc. But it's just eating up a bit too much of my time. While it's not an all consuming task in the least, it's because more of a nuisance than I care for it to be. It causes me to play more than I like, which causes it to become a bit less fun. I'm crazy busy juggling weekends between here, and Chicago and I just need to adjust my priorities. Thanks for a great league! It's been real!

 

Hate to see anyone leave but sometimes you just don't have the time or desire, then it's best for the league and yourself to just step aside. Never played against you but was fun having ya.
