Hmm...someone may have mentioned that could happen last yr..

So if Bosh commits to Chicago then Wade and LeBron fight over who ends up there. LeBron obviously wins, and for Wade... it's Amare in New York or Boozer in Miami. In that case I'd just want to stop watching basketball anyway so I could give a rats ***. I really hope Ira's theory is wrong and we're all just overreacting here.

 

This Bulls fans thoughts = my thoughts.... or at least what I really want to believe:

I mean, if this was a serious issue would Riley really be meeting with Carlos Boozer and David Lee right now? No. He'd b in Chicago harassing the **** out of D-Wade. I was never completely sold on Bron coming here...it really does seem like he's trying to find a way for CLE to compete with MIA/CHI/NYK/NJJ to get players.

 

Odd that DWade is meeting the bulls at his Agents office in a second meeting..the Bulls pitching the agent that the contract offer is possible?

 

How the hell would the bulls pull off bron/bosh/wade? Are they all gonna play for MLE money? I call BS.

Chicago can't even land Bosh via S&T because Toronto wants nothing to do with Deng.

 

Well fun is fun, but with no possible contract signings until next week this is all foreplay HiDef, run the numbers, kick the tires of the management, boost the ego by visiting different teams.

Most FA's in every professional sport has a sort of domino deal going, so and so signs somewhere to set the market then other FA's sign afterwards then the lower tier players sign, then the mop up/C team players sign.

 

So they're not meeting with Boozer/Lee anymore because they need to get back to Chicago to deal with this (speculation), or are they meeting with Boozer/Lee in Chicago?

 

This has to be THEIR thinking:

1. Sign Wade.
2. If LeBron comes, sign him.

G - Derrick Rose
G - Dwyane Wade
F - LeBron James
F - Taj Gibson
C - Joakim Noah

If LeBron doesn't come, sign Bosh or Boozer.

G - Derrick Rose
G - Dwyane Wade
F - Luol Deng
F - Chris Bosh or Carlos Boozer
C - Joakim Noah

They're a title contender either way if they can lock up Wade.

 

Bro, pro athlete contracts have all sorts of stuff in them besides just the dollar amounts, everything from parking spaces to personal assistants to luxury box tickets, those things are loaded with caveats and perks.

 

The latter. The Boozer and Lee meetings are in Chicago. Has nothing to do with putting out an imaginary Wade fire.

I've come to the conclusion that Wade and Bosh are manufacturing drama for the documentary being shot.

 

Good for him. That's a nice job if he can get it, though the WC is always competitive.

 

I'd cry the entire summer (no joke) if Wade were to sign elsewhere. I'd also cancel cable and internet to completely avoid ever seeing Dwyane Wade in another uniform.... completely serious.

 

All of the NBA players are tweeting about Wade joining Chicago.... even Jay Cutler tweeted Wade asking when he can get his Wade Bulls jersey.
