    - Ric Bucher, which means that LeBron is signing in New York, Wade+Bosh is signing in Chicago, Amare just tore his ACL walking down broadway street and is now considering playing in Spain, and Boozer is signing in Miami.

Wade / Jordan ties.... he's signing for the MLE with the Bobcats (5-years / $30 million).

Just wanted to put that out there before ESPN beats me to it!

    Just checking in.

    SOURCE-

My take on a couple of conversations I had...Bosh is not an easy mark. There is real competition for him. I can almost guarantee..(only anecdotal evidence that has been told to me...) That if the Mavs can put a S&T together...he will sign immediately. I have no info on that..just told he openly mussed about how great a fit he would be in Dallas when he was asked about him playing there..

so yes...we are waiting on Lebron James.

read Mike Wallace's stuff...I am told it is pretty reliable by people in the know.

On the Wade coming from Charleston, S.C...I think Gabrielle Union is there filming something.

**** LBJ.... I'm glad that's over with. Like I said many times before, I'd of been thrilled with the "Big 3" but I'd much prefer eliminating his *** on a yearly basis. I'd love to see him win 10 MVP's and never win a championship. Success wise, he's the Dan Marino of basketball. As far as desire to win and off the field though he cannot even compare.

Still, I've grown some respect for him with how he's handled this unlike Will & Grace, but I didn't really care from the start whether or not he ended up here. My concern has always been Grace.... she means everything to what happens with us. You get her, and you keep Will. Plain and simple.

    I can debunk that story.

My source would know if Lebron James turned down the heat.

LBJ has not told the Heat anything.

So the source for this story has to be Lebron James himself. You believe that?

A question for NBA capologist types, or anyone who would know:

LJ has a 25 million dollar home in Akron Ohio, would it be within the rules to sign him to the MAX, and also purchase that home?

And if so, would that count against the Cap?

I think the Big 3, amazingly, still in play. Beyond the fact that Broussard is getting used like a cheap whore, go to Vegasinsiders.com which lists futures betting lines. In the worst 48 hours media wise in Heat history, the Heat has moved to 6-1 odds to win the title. Second choice to only the Lakers.

Now who do I trust, the cheap whore or Vegas oddsmakers? It ain't the whore

Thats not the first time Ive heard amare say that about Bosh. ESPN 1050 did a radio interview with him back in mid-09 and host Brandon Tierney asked him if he thought he was better then Bosh and at first he kinda just laughed. Then he was re-asked the question and responded with something like "yes and its not close". I always thought Amare has a better power game where as Bosh is more of a jump shooting big. Bosh is probably a better defensive player though Amare usually blocks more shots.

There's no way Lebron is just "ruling out" the opportunity to make between 1.5-2 billion over his career off the court in NYC. You dont just rule that out.

    Ya, cleveland cant do that.

Serious question just to kill some time and have fun in GM mode.... if Dwyane Wade informs Riley/Arison that he will not be coming back next year, what would you do? We'd have Beasley and Chalmers on the roster with around $45 million in cap space.

FYI - rumor with the Cavs is that they have reached a sign and trade for Bosh - but Bosh refuses to play in Cleveland. Toronto is currently playing hardball and saying either go to CLE or lose the $30. Apparently MIA and CHI are trying to put together a package that would satisfy TOR.

Again - just the rumors in CLE.

Also, I don't even think Bosh to Dallas is an option.... Bosh has stressed over and over and as recent as the day before free agency started that he will NOT play center under any circumstances. Without Bosh's willingness to play center, I don't know how Bosh/Dirk would work.

Miami's competition for Bosh is Chicago and Houston. It's this simple: If Chicago offers Joakim Noah he's theirs. But it's likely they won't do that, and it'll end up between Taj Gibson/picks/TPE or Michael Beasley/picks/TPE or just picks/TPE and Bosh's preference. I think Houston is the final option.

LOL. No, you can't do that. Real Estate purchases are all made public. A team would be raked over the coals and prevented from even signing that player.

The old.."Suitcase of cash" theories can also be debunked. All Players have to make their finances made available to the league. They are audited and the teams are made aware of their Income through tax returns.

I don't understand how Bosh would fit in Dallas from a basketball standpoint. I know that's his home but he's either coming off the bench, playing C (which he is adamantly against), or playing PF with Dirk playing C. Neither of those scenarios make any sense.

edit: HD beat me to it.

That Cleveland rumor is intriguing, thanks PhiNomina

I would sign a bunch of young players on the cheap, hope for the lotto and throw money at Melo next year.

If that's true, LBJ should leave immediately. If one if his best friend would love to play with him anywhere other than CLE, what does that say about the Cavs ability to attract talent?

I think it says that Chris Bosh is a self centered douche more than anything.

I mean he has the right to play where he wants to play, but his demands are really annoying. He wants every penny of that contract AND has a short list of two or three teams. Ridiculous really.

If I'm Toronto I'd tell him to eff off and go sign for $30 million less. It's not like their organization would utilize the players/picks/TPE they get in return properly anyway. May was well take the joy in watching that attention whore suffer.

That they can still give him $30 million more dollars?

And they'd have a lot more top tier talent if LeBron would sign long term deals. Ariza and Artest have already refused to sign because LeBron wouldn't commit long term.

If Dirk is willing to become a full time center though, because Bosh has openly stated that he will not no matter what.

I truly believe that if you ask Chris Bosh to play center on a team that already has Chris Paul at PG, Dwyane Wade at SG, LeBron James at SF, and Tim Duncan in his prime at PF..... he'd tell you to trade Tim Duncan.

    He's the ultimate douche.

And it's sad that he's still my preference in terms of free agency and I'd gladly wear his jersey on opening night.

You try and get Bosh this year and a bunch of scrubs on 1 year deal and try again next year for Paul or Deron, Melo and Dwight Howard..see if you can get two of those guys. Thats how I'd treat it if I was a Heat fan....

I am probably alone on this one but I don't think it's out of the realm that Chris Bosh re-signs with Toronto if they continue to play hard ball regarding S&T. Might be out of the realm for Toronto to take him back and give him the full max though.... he's really handled this situation like a real douche bag.

Agreed, though I don't think Bosh would come here. It's possible though since we can make him the "centerpiece" like he wants.

I'd go after Anthony Morrow and re-sign Haslem, Dorell, and Joel Anthony. Would also offer Beasley and picks for Monta Ellis or Al Jefferson. Both players have bright futures and are good at milking a season away for the lottery.

GM's and Franchises a bit more clever than that Sect, the team would be bound by the contract rules, however a third party can offer whatever they want for the home...sorta like Reggie Bush's momma's house..USC had seemingly nothing to do with it...

Interesting that LJ pushed back his presser until after his basketball camp finished...I suspected that much, if he is leaving why go through it before the 8th?

and they didn't get away with it.

One douchebag on a computer at city hall could uncover that entire conspiracy.

Somebody has to qualify for that 25 million dollar home. There is a closing done. All of that is recorded.

Update since my last post -

    SamAmicoNBA

Source had heard that from Bosh's people. Not LeBron's. So who knows?

He first tried to qualify the source by saying they knew about Brian Shaw turning down Cavs before it happened - but all inside reports say job was never offered. We got deep in the process and then pulled out.

I'd doubt it, a player is unable to sell their home?

Come on now Sect..a player signs elsewhere they have been known to sell their fmr residences...

The genesis of that comes from these so called fixers and power brokers World Wide Wes and Maverick Carter's involvement in all of this, College Football is choc a bloc full of characters such as them, they are there for a reason..and it isn't good conversational skills...:wink2:
