There are a lot of things in play, for example "if" Wade left, would Bosh sign in miami?

If not, Boozer (though I;'m lukewarm on his game) would be the last real frontline piece left in FA...the rest would be the Feltons and Lee's of the NBA.

 

I'd die laughing if that is the "next" storyline on ESPN..."LJ reportedly has a deal in place to sell his home in Akron"..

To Mr. Amico's credit.... he says the same source reporting LBJ/Bosh/Wade is the same source that broke Brian Shaw's news to him 12 hours early. The report about being told by an executive that LeBron is headed to Chicago last week was a "different source"

I doubt it but we'll see.

Was told that pending Dwyane Wade's return, Miami is Brandan Haywood's #1 option after the meet. We're high on Mike Miller's list as well. Very high.

He could have just worded it wrong - but Shaw didn't turn down the offer. Cavs got deep in interview process then backed out. All the stuff about his being the guy was spread by Shaw's agent. Cavs always denied. I am fairly certain Windhorst confirmed this.

So if the source is the same that told him Shaw backed out - he might not have all the facts.

Mike Wallace reporting on twitter that Heat having "back burner" S&T talks with Dallas re Haywood and Utah re Boozer. Discussions have centered on a resigned JO and Beasley. Stresses that these talks are "back burner"

 

It means that Haywood wants more than we're willing to pay him outright because we want to split what's left (after Wade + Bosh/Boozer) to fill multiple positions rather than just center.

Could Riley be trying to acquire Caron Butler? I would not put it past him at all. Doubt that's doable though.

Funny thing is that we went after Butler/Haywood (WAS) last year and opted to back off because of Butler's contract. That's when Dallas came into play and made it happen.

What major PG help is he alluding to? Obviously not Deron Williams or Jason Kidd.

Jason Terry perhaps, or JJ Barea? Who knows. Wallace is well connected though.

Caron is real intriguing to me because first of all I'm still in love with him, and second of all he expires next summer so we can have some fun again!!!!!

Any chance Wade announces anything at the fundraiser thing at Nova. IMO it’s a bad sign if he’s leaves Miami with no decision.

I don't think so because he's supposed to be meeting with Riley and co. shortly after (maybe Wednesday or Thursday) and it's been reported that his agent will be there for that meeting. I'm guessing that's when they're going to discuss the contract. It gets scary if he leaves the meeting without a formal agreement though....

It'd be pretty sweet if he comes out tomorrow with Chris Bosh with him and announces something, but that's a pipe dream of mine.

Amare agree to sign with the New York Knicks. Dont know if it was posted yet. Maybe LBJ next for NY or Melo next. Doesnt change anything for the Heat i believe. That all depends on Bosh.

 

I'm guessing the rest of the announcements come in the next 24 hours. We'll see soon enough if Wade/Rileys masterplan comes to fruition.

I don't think LBJ sees him and Amare winning championships. He's either going Heat or Cavs.

We can cross NYK out for Bosh now. I'm positive he's going to the Heat.

I actually hope you guys get Bosh at this point because I think the best chance my Knicks have to get Lebron is if the Heat land Bosh to go with Wade. then Lebron will realize he better have a 2nd legit option. Thats Amare.
