Landon Donovan had a hand in 4 of the 5. If you add in the 2 goals they had taken away..he would have had a hand in 6 out of 7. Sorry...he is a lock on EVERY list anybody comes up with.

If he is a great player, he would not be playing in the MLS. I am so pumped watching this game. Two teams playing great and showing their skills in their own way. Spain is, I think, the most enjoyable team to watch with their passing and receiving skills; Germany a close 2nd with their counter punching fast breaks.
Is there a better tactical team in the world to spain on its offensive attack? Masters at drawing defenders. They just didn't finish on a couple of those plays (that header a while back was a bad miss).

SPain deserve this but that doesn't always happen. That Iniesta - Villa chance should have resulted in a goal. If it goes to penalties - I think Germany will be happy. Unrelated - it has been a very honorably played game so far. I appreciate that professionalism in both teams. Hopefully they will keep it up.
