If he goes in..then Ozil goes in..and then the team is just the German National team instead of a All-tourney team.

Did we watch the same game? On the same planet? I'm not trying to be confrontational, I'm just genuinely flabberghasted.

Then be flabbergasted. That game came on at 9:30 AM, so I didn't even have a drink in me.

Germany's 4-1 victory of England was the least impressive 4-1 victory in the history of the WC. That is coming from somebody that sang the praises of the German Selection in here with a fawning post.

Not feeling Ashley Cole pick. I didn't think he had that great of a WC.

Im biased, but Diego Lugano and Diego Perez should be there. All 3 have been monsters. As well as the other Diego in Uruguay, Diego Forlan.

I would have included Honda, and Bastin on that all tourny team, but I think its good.....

Funny could this be the reason England wasnt fit....?? hahah Cole seems to be taking his team's WC effort harsly......I dont blame him...but smoking butts??

    Put down your crack pipe.

Tim Howard could be argued lost the Ghana game with less than textbook Goal Keeping.

Landon Donovan was ****ing BRILLIANT this world Cup.

The US scored 5 goals in the WC. Landon Donovan had a hand in 4 of the 5.

If you add in the 2 goals they had taken away..he would have had a hand in 6 out of 7.

Sorry...he is a lock on EVERY list anybody comes up with.

    I know...plays a loaded position.

as for Ashley Cole..I thought he was really good in the group stage. He was actually not that bad vs. germany either.

Tactics used by England Hid what he could do in the final third.

The exact reason, I can remember being like how the eff does this dude, give up that angle, I thought he was better than that??

Landon was the main reason we had something to cheer about honestly...

Dennis Bergkamp is the god of football. As an Arsenal fan, I still cry everyday that he's not with us. Arsene tried to hail RvP as the next Dennis but not even close. Now he's hailing Cristian Eriksen as the next one. I doubt it. There will never be another Dennis.

Maybe you should look into what your smoking:wink2:
Landon Donovan is a good USA player, but he is nothing close to being world class, not even close. If he is a great player, he would not be playing in the MLS.

Tim Howard is the best player on the USA squad, I will say that the US can produce good GK's, but after that, the USA produces turds for soccer players.

its an all world cup team. if ricardo clark scored 8 goals he would be on it

there no debate that donovan was at least the second best winger in this world cup

saying he sucks is just ridiculous. if he is a turd, than most everyone else is worse

spain's defense doing good job of stifling germany. using alot of energy though. we'll see how much energy they have left in the 2nd half

I am so pumped watching this game. Two teams playing great and showing their skills in their own way.

Spain is, I think, the most enjoyable team to watch with their passing and receiving skills; Germany a close 2nd with their counter punching fast breaks.

Piquet is Spain's achilles heel, if you ask me. he's been the weakest defender of the WC.

Is there a better tactical team in the world to spain on its offensive attack? Masters at drawing defenders. They just didn't finish on a couple of those plays (that header a while back was a bad miss).

I didn't even bring it up...since this was just a WC all-tourney team..but since you just did...YES..he is world class. All it takes is a pair of eyes.

    Count his international goals.

    A guy with 45 international goals....sucks?

    get real.

BTW..he might play for Man City..good enough squad for you?

you sound as if you have never seen Landon Donovan play.

SPain deserve this but that doesn't always happen. That Iniesta - Villa chance should have resulted in a goal. If it goes to penalties - I think Germany will be happy.

Unrelated - it has been a very honorably played game so far. I appreciate that professionalism in both teams. Hopefully they will keep it up.
