im still not getting my hopes up until i hear it from him. im of the mindset that we are going to contend with him or without him. i just want to stay level headed just incase **** doesnt go our way. but once/if he says hes coming to the heat the party starts! ill be one of the people overpaying for opening game tickets.

<<<< Is just sick of this prima donna circus James is leading.

Just sign already, wherever it is. This is ridiculous. A live press conference announcement scheduled during prime time. LMAO.

Lebron and Brett Favre should get together, go fishing and exchange notes how they collectively can whore themselves in the media even more.

Riley could hire 12 random meth addicts around those three and they'd still win 60 this season.

Any whispers on what they're moving him for? Is it simply additional cap-space to help fill out the roster, or is there a specific person they're after?

Oh, agree. I've actually considered submitting my resume for starting Center. I'm 5'11, but I have an 18" vertical leap to make up for it...

There's talk of a 4 way deal where Beas would end up in charlotte and we would end up solely with cap space, and Ira also posted another potential deal where Beas would go to Philly straight up for Kapono, if Miller says no.

Several GMs & prominent agents are defiant, insisting #LeBron will stay in CLE. They can't see the rationale of leaving $ and this process.

Oh Windhorst. Which GM's? Chris Grant, Jon Paxson and Donnie Walsh?

    14:59, 14:58.....

If this happens do we induct Stephen A. Smith into the Miami Heat HOF? Doesn't even matter if he was guessing.

My bad.... that text was just from a random friend. I thought he saw it officially reported online or something so I was looking for some confirmation. Guess he read Ira's article that Miami officials informed Beasley that he will be moved.

Yeah, I think he earns that spot.

... Never thought I'd say that.

LeBatard: "We need to get a hold of Bill Simmons. I've got beef with Bill Simmons. He's spending all this time talking about how this wouldn't work while conveniently forgetting that when the Celtics put their team together they had no help either."

    Official News.

    This is crazy.

The AAA is sold out. As in no more season tickets. 500 seats available for gameday.

and this could be BIG NEWS:

The 25 Bungalow rental for a Lebron James party at the W Hotel?

    IT IS ABSOLUTELY 100% TRUE.

Why wasn't there a Miami jersey pasted on LeBron, like NY and Chicago?

    NY Population: 8,391,881
    Chicago Population: 2,851,268
    Miami Population: 433,136

ESPN will always **** on the smaller markets in favor of the larger markets. The only way smaller markets will get their due is if they are winning. Would you rather kiss the *** of 8M people, or kiss the *** of 400k? There is no conspiracy to slander Miami. The only conspiracy is to appeal to the larger markets. Kevin Durant signs an extension, and you barely hear about it from ESPN. Why? Because OK City has a population of 560k.

The flight from NY to MIA is only a couple of hours. Entirely possible to attend the wedding in the day and then party it up overnight.

The "City" of Miami is very small. I don;t think that number is correct either.

The Greater South Florida Area which basically runs from the Beaches down to Kendall and Up to Hollywood has 5.5 Million People.

There is too much "Bron to Miami" out there in the media. I dont like it. I'm starting to think its all just smoke...

Oh well, we already won in FA. Wade/Bosh is going to be fun to watch for a long time...

That 433,000 number is kinda deceiving. The Metro area of Miami, Miami Beach and Kendall has about 2.5 Million people.

It's not 8 Million, but still.

The South Florida market, including Broward and Palm Beach (who are still the "home towns" of the Heat)... make up the 7th largest market in the nation...

Sure, there are suburbs for every city. I'm just illustrating the point that ESPN's bias is based on market size, not some disdain for Miami.

I don't think you're on the right track here. ESPN doesn't talk about small markets; they don't mention, say, Seattle at all. The difference is that when they talk about Miami, they do so negatively. You have to put a gun to ESPN's head to get them to say anything positive about South Florida sports teams.

I never said small. I just said when it comes down to it, they'll kiss NY's and CHI's *** before they kiss Miami's ***. And the only reason I think they kissed Chicago's *** is because there was a lot of speculation that LeBron would be going there.

We didn't hear anything about Miami until the last 10 days.

I barely even watch ESPN, I'm not sure why I'm having this debate

They actually had Modell on a radio station today to talk about it!

I think if he just left and acted like it was a really hard decision but he was chasing a ring, he would have been fine. Hated for a few years but then accepted.

Instead he told us about "loyalty" and "family" and wanting to be the greatest of all time. He even promised he wouldn't leave until Cleveland won a ring. Now he is going to a team where he might not be the best player on the roster - and killed any chances of an MVP or being considered the GOAT. So Cleveland feels a bit cheated and lied to.

Bosh was an *** for dissing Toronto - but it is better than flirting with them up to the last minute then leaving them at the bar with no money left for a cab home.

So, it will be close between he and Modell.
