Drove from Buffalo back to Atlanta and went through several states on the way up and came back down a different way. A lot of us take things for granted. For example when your on the thruway and going 65-70 and you come up on someone from behind most people move over and allow you to pass. Not in these states, some actually slowed down forcing a pass on the right??.......Just curious what you guys think. Has anyone experienced anything crazy or noticed tendencies of drivers from certain states

Really surprised to say the least

Ohio had the most people who just refused to move out of the passing lane to allow others to pass, forcing others to pass on the right. Or just plain drove in the left passing lane regardless of their speed, traffic around them or safety.

New York had the rudest drivers by far.....especially in the Buffalo area. It was a race to the speed limit with frequent unsignaled lane changes, cutting off and flips of the bird. Funny though how it was Mario Andretti to the limit then .....bam........not a mile over the posted speed................LOL

-Massachusetts drivers are just plain dumb, and they need to learn the rules.
-Philadelphia drivers are a-holes, but they are good drivers. So good at darting.
-PA drivers will move over in general, if only because there's a law that you can be ticketed if you're riding in the left lane and not passing.
-Los Angeles driver need to learn how to drive in general, especially in the rain. I can't imagine how many people would die if there was ever a blizzard in the city.

Florida has to be worthy of mention just because of Miami. It's literally like bumper cars in that city.

Texas drivers also have zero idea about stay in right lane unless to pass.
I get really frustraded getting stuck behind 2 people driving side by side (with only 2 lanes each direction) neither of which is doing the speed limit and there is nothing but miles of empty highway in front of them.
I also drove in Buffalo and have to agree woth the OP.

Wouldn't say it's that bad. What I will say is: I always try and make amends with the people I wronged in my life, and tie up any loose ends I may have with family before taking to the road every day. Also established my will when I was 15; update it every year. Just in case.

    Well away from here
Nah, the easiest way to confuse a Texan may be to construct an on ramp and let him try and figure it out. You know what I'm talking about.

In Texas the random slow moving car entering the highway has right of way over every other moving object in the vicinity and you'd better the move the **** over or that Texan will about have a **** attack.

Insane. I once saw a little old lady barely above the steering wheel driving down the middle of the road taking up both lanes. It was hilarious as he flipped you off if you honked at her. Made me laugh may *** off.

the drivers in the Dallas area are terrible. If there is any rain, expect 3/4 of the people to drive 10 mph under the speed limit and the other 1/4 people to crash. If you ever signal to change lanes, do it fast because someone, somwhere will show up to try to block you in.

Yeah cuz it is really hard to screw driving up in places where you go straight for 30 miles at a time...no cuz up here time is money, GTFO of the way, go look at trees, and enjoy your stupid moutain scenery, we have no time for signals, laws, and speed limits.....

NY driving is the best I have experienced by far, simple rules, if you arent in a traffic jam, do not use your horns, cutting off is okay, and actually expected.....the point is never to slow down, just go.....if you have been tailgated or tailgated yourself within 3 yards of the following car (or one in front of you) without hitting your brakes....ahh my friends u havent lived :tongue2:

Gotta agree with monster. South Florida has a lot of really crappy drivers. But I think most of the dumbasses are transplanted Jets fans to be honest
